I have zero reads on the other new players and I'm sure I've missed many...

worth noting that as a villager i probably lynch wolves on d1 with 55-60% accuracy on other sites averaged. i used to play on a forum called WalterFootball that basically used to say "you can't lynch wolves on d1!!!!" and weighed down the importance of d1 but i think it's absolutely the most important day for sewing together a competent, intelligent village core and building a reasonable PoE, which is not absurdly difficult in ~smaller games

And when you do that it makes it much harder for wolves to stay UTR or avoid being lynched because of a cohesive villager, and hence the rate spikes up

Getting wolves day one is easy if you know the players

I pretty much have said that D1 was uber important in every single game I've played here, except the last one where I didn't GAF. so like for BID to pretend like he's never heard that idea before is kinda weird.

There's not a great deal of effort from rilla to figure anything out, which is a huge red flag. That said, it's a strange d1 with a lot of noobs dominating discussion, so I can see this level of interest from villager rilla. Lynching him today sucks on many levels.

It is mostly tone. I also read the thread as much as a wolf than I do as a villager and won't hesitate to throw a fellow wolf under the bus if he is making wolfish as hell posts. There's more, but I will let you figure that out if we play together enough for me to roll wolf.

I'm sorta wondering why Kami would do the "I'm bad and can't be trusted" spiel as a wolf.

I can't exactly find a reason for it but it gives me pause. Kami will probably crush as a wolf in a long game one day but I haven't seen it yet.

Tbf, Drew has this reputation as being a total doofus with some notable #fails (but who doesn't amirite) but I think he's played well lately as a villager. he even got N1 killed last game.

I don't really get the same sense this game, but I'd expect him to be more cringeworthy as a wolf.

drew is agreeing with me and talking to me as though I'm a villager. This would be fair enough if he actually said he was townreading me. Drew is actually the only person who has an accurate read on me, and he's somewhat proud of himself for it. He's nailed my alignment early on for probably over a year now. Where is his bragging here? Where does he remind us how sick a read he has on me and tells us all I'm a villager? He doesn't. Yet he's agreeing with me and whatnot.

That said, I'm reluctant to lynch him d1. He only ever flips seer when he dies before d2, I fucking swear it.

I don't think I am as good of a villager as I get credit for, and while some of the early posting was annoying I have already come to enjoy the way you guys look at the game.

Also, part of my villager problem is I rolled wolf like 8 games in a row so I kinda forgot how to honestly try to find wolves instead of making up stories.

Ong, here is my problem with you tunneling someone. You go into it with a perceived notion and then fit their narrative to meet your notion. You did it the last game with baudib and it distracted the village to the point where rascal almost skated to victory. When you deep dive on someone go into it with an open mind, not a pre-conceived notion.

I think gator is a very difficult wolf to spot, but is isn't so hard to spot as a villager. I know that kinda sounds illogical, but he manages to do the right things as wolf to stay alive, and usually on d1 that involves not getting drawn into conflict. Here, he's making too many enemies early on, which isn't in his long term interests. He's not thinking long term. He's trying to find wolves.

I think I can read gator, but the test comes next time he's a wolf. If he's a wolf here, then I can't read him, at least not this early.

Well, I was looking to see if he did actually say anything about me. Had he done so, I'd have probably town read him. I had an open mind as I read his posts. He seems otherwise villager, but it's definitely worthy of note that he's failed to townread me while agreeing with my points, considering his track record of successfully reading me.

I don't know how anyone makes a read on Hoopy ever.

I remember my first game here and I was a wolf defending Hoopy when everyone wanted to lynch him.

I don't think Gator does this big brother bit as a wolf btw.

I swear hoopy always gets PoE'd when he's a wolf.

The problem with players like this is that they still rand wolf now and then, and I see too many ~balanced-range players get randomly defended (by villagers, even!) for being acting like themselves when it's pretty much their wolf range

I'm pretty much never down to let people skate regardless of their personality and/or meta

Regardless I want to lynch between BID/Rascal/Rilla today but not sure which just it, let me chew on it
