rilla we looking at same game but you are making the wrong leaps. i appreciate you posting your order of elimination though

There's a bit of catching up for me to do today. I've skimmed the thread, but, I'll just start where I left off.

The reason that I asked if anyone was interested in the vote graphs is someone (I don't remember who and didn't go back to find it) gave grief to MMM for posting the vote graphs for EOD saying it was just busy work. I find them useful and I'm willing to share and since MMM isn't playing this game, I volunteer to step up and provide that info.

About my making a point of it: the ONLY other game that I've ever posted vote graphs is the Champions game on POG. I have done other charts here for my reads, but I've never posted those graphs before.

Why do you say you're clear? Luco is liking you as villager, not clearing you?

With regards to the bold in the quote above. I assume you're talking about the post I just quoted.

Why would you be asking for an angel this early in the game? That just makes on sense from a village perspective.

Throwing out ong because he hasn't done anything wolfy while he also hasn't done anything villagery seems like picking sides to me. Not trusting buad who, and I may be a bit biased because he's brought it down on me, clearly knows how to think and it doing it unencumbered, goes left where I would go right. Add in a scattershot of panic pointed across the Hoopies, wufwugies, and rascals of the world. well, that's fair and it is where I leap. Can't tell you why, but I don't think you'll find a wolf in the three.

Good point here by Baud. I didn't realize it until he pointed it out. Gabe does come after me every game. I'm guessing it's because he thinks I'm an easy mislynch.

Also, as I pointed out in my earlier post, I found it odd that Gabe's asking for angel protection this early. I can't think of a good reason for a villa to do that at this point in the game, but a wolf could be doing it to PR hunt.

When I first read this, I misread it. But assuming you're villa, from a villa POV everyone is infinitely more likely to be a wolf than you are. So, why the push on Baud and not everyone else?

I work things a different way. I start with everyone as neutral and based on interactions they start to move to be more likely villa or more likely wolf.

it would be very newb of me to go after rascal if i was a wolf this game, considering how 2 of the last 3 games as a wolf i tried to get villagerrascal lynched. i was not wrong to go after him then imo



anyone want to entertain idea of rilla studying how to be a convincing wolf? he comes up with a new visual aide {} which is nice but the village logic in it is lacking. how is hoopy your 3rd removal? he plays the same shielded style every game. its even easier to do as a wolf than as a villager. hes DEFINITELY above the 27% mark

I agree they aren't always helpful, but they can be in many situations.

I used them to reverse a villa read that I had on someone in a game and they proved out to be a wolf.

Fair enough on your first paragraph, but I still don't get asking for the angel on the 22nd post of the game. It didn't appear to be in the flow of the game at all. You had no reason at that point to be worried about needing to be angeled.

So why ask? I'm legit interested.

No, it isn't reasonable. I can't even tell what Gabe thinks he did that he claimed clears himself (because he said somebody's wolfy???). Nobody gets to clear themselves on post #1, him pointing it out nullifies it anyways. I have no idea what Gabe is talking about.

Rilla never explained his bold for Gabe. Baud claims he thinks Rilla's bold was not serious. I explained my bold for Gabe, and Baud thinks I'm being opportunistic and ignores that I gave reason. If he thinks a lack of a reason for a bold is good to use on me, then he would also think that for Rilla, but he doesn't. He thinks Rilla is a villager because he assumes his lack of knowledge of Rilla's play is good enough to use a simplistic heuristic to evaluate Rilla.

So here we have Gabe saying things that make no sense, then Baud backing him up. Then when I point that out, Baud thinks I'm a wolf, for a reason that contradicts his view that Rilla is not a wolf in the same situation.

My hours are different than everybody else. I'm always gone for 16-20 hour stretches. I would expect you to know this since I have stated it many times.


I think I'm sticking with Gabe because I think his first two posts are precisely what wolfgabe would love to do. I think Baud is a good wolf candidate, but I also think he runs with things too quickly, so as a villager he ends up saying all sorts of head-scratchers.

i understand your view but i have the benefit of knowing i posted that as a villager.

i asked the angel because in that moment i thought other players would tend to think i was very likely a villager, thus making me a good target to eat. i didnt demand the angel protect me, i just wanted to make it clear they should be thinking about. other players in the game dont always use logical tactics so i thought it was beneficial to post it, and i didnt see harm in doing so

before you make a judgement based on it, consider that if i was a wolf, i would also have no reason to ask for the angel. and if i was a wolf, i would be much more guarded in how i come across. thus im more likely to be a villager than a wolf based off of that post

wuf, i'm unlikely a wolf because of my day 1 posts. i tend not to care what happens on day 1, but this time i saw something so i pointed it out. holding that against me is preposterous. you are incentivizing me to not post in the future on day 1 even when what i say, when taken at face value (regardless of my role), helps the village. I'm not making a judgement on it, I'm trying to understand your thought processes. I disagree that you asking for it makes you more likely to be a villager, especially when it stands out the way it does.

From my POV, it seems more wolfy than villagery. As a villager, I wouldn't ask for it unless I felt it was in the best interest of the village to save me over another villager. As a wolf, it could be used to hunt for the villa PR's depending on possible responses to that post.

you seem to think it was wolfy because its strange. but you need to consider that i know it looks out of the ordinary. also consider that as a wolf i'm very aware on how i come across, and in general as a wolf i do not try and stick out in anyway. combine these things and its very unlikely that i would post at the angel like this.

also in my 10 years of playing werewolf, i dont go after specials in this type of way. i'll save you the time so you dont have to look it up. but rooting out specials is not ever taken into account when i make a post. so my angel post should be discounted as wolfy evidence because of this

the point is everything i have posted was just natural villageryness. the only way i could come across this way as a wolf is if i spent time preparing a plan. the post you quoted is me saying i did not do that this game, although i guess its in my "range"

Gabe, Ong has been OBJECTIVELY wolfy in numerous ways. Oh let us count the ways:

1. His strongest game-related stance so far has been that you, me and Rilla are villagers. Despite this, he's been working actively to muddy the waters by voting me (twice) and arguing at length about the strength of Rilla's wolf game. This is not only directly contradictory to what his actual words are ("X is a villager, lynch X") I can show you many times in past games where Ong talks about Rilla, and it's usually something along the lines of "Rilla is a great wolf hunter and an average wolf at best, I'm not worried about him."

2. Luco-Hoopy-Wuf...if these three aren't in your top 4 wolf candidates right now I don't know what to tell you. I think you agree. Ong has been strangely silent about all of them.

3. For instance, Ong spent more time splitting the hairs between "totally null" and "rand (27%) to slightly (31%) wolfy" than talking about any wolf candidates.

Ong is reminding me a lot of that hotshots game we played around New Year's where I just straight trolled everyone and tried to brush it off as joking. I was a wolf.

I don't buy any of the "I couldn't do this as a wolf" stuff, but I'' buy the "I'm not doing it as a wolf now" stuff.

Based on reading some past wolf chats, it's actually true that Gabe doesn't spend much time thinking about hunting specials as a wolf.

I agree with you that it doesn't make you wolfy. What I said was to your response that it made you more likely villa.

You're still in my neutral pile, but I'm trying to understand your thought process here so that I can try and get a read on you and if you're villa clear you so I concentrate on finding wolves.

How do you see that he's deeply interested in Wuf? In my previous post I point out that he didn't respond to your question about wuf.

All caught up now.

Rilla and Luco I have as leaning villa.

Baud and Rong are neutral.

I'm still getting a wolfy tingly feeling from Gabe, but it's not as bad as before.

My top two wolf candidates for now are:
Ong - he just seems off this game and not game sovlery.
Wuf - I don't know if it's his lack of posting or the contents of his posts, but this feels like Wolf wuf to me.

If I was a wolf who thought it, I wouldn't have pointed it out. He's getting lynched, and if he is the angel, it's better than I'm saying it rather than someone else.

i dont think rascal's defense of his original "hey want me to make charts?" post is good enough. in a vacuum, his original post is wolfy and he can't explain it away.

your first sentence doesnt make sense to me. you are basically saying, "i asked because someone did something to someone else while saying charts were busy work." what do you exactly mean here?

your second sentence is very clear and i agree

your 2nd paragraph can be ignored if you substitute my use of "charts" for "visual aids." you used them starting in your first game here when no one else was doing it. there were a few posts pointing it out (e.g. "i like this new guys color scheme!")

i can see your point. i rated that his vote didnt have much weight (even in his own mind)

but as to the question "did i see it", obv i did, and ignoring at the time showed how much credit i thought was appropriate (i.e. none)

the point of my post about him was that he seemed inactive. at that point, the thread was heating up and i just couldnt imagine it without him. also it wasnt like he spent time making a big argument in his brief visit to the thread.
