Yeah, and Sarah Palin with her cross-hairs lock-and-load BS highlighted this woman. But it's not prudent to ascribe such an incredible act to these people. I'm sure crazy is capable of being crazy without the help of Glenn or Sarah.

Stuff like this makes me sick. It also makes me think the right to bear arms is not really necessary anymore and that our allegedly advanced society should be able to do without anybody being able to buy guns. England seems to do just fine.

Fox News tried to slide in a story which I doubt is real, just a comment that one of the people in the crowd shot back at the gunman.

It seems like the Congresswoman was shot in the temple and is currently alive and responsive to doctors. All according to an AZ state senator they just interviewed.

A federal judge was also shot at the scene; killed.

Still not sure quite where I stand on the gun control issue, but this is a ridiculous comparison. You can't kill someone instantly from 50 feet away with your voice, try as you might.

A closer comparison would be to point out the double standard by which drugs are illegal, yet are potentially lethal to self and others in similar ways to guns, which are legal.

In the spirit of ridiculous analogies: Slavery was in the constitution too. But, its a living document that can and should change with the times.

Dumbasses will obvi always find a way to be a dumbass, but I don't consider the right to bear arms to be an inalienable right in today's society.
