A bluff gone bad...

Why did I do this? I had been C-Betting a lot, so I put them on something like a QJ, or QT, so I went for it. Just so happens it was a $$ flop for them! Oucherz... way to ruin a session!

why would you put him on 2 hands?
1010, JJ, sometimes 33 are in his range as are a ton of other hands.

you shouldnt just decide, he might have xy, and he'll fold. you need to take into account his entire range, and then work out if your flop vaise makes him fold enough for it to be profitable.

I was being an idiot. I basically just wanted to post this so I'd remember not to do something stupid like this again.

If you've been c-betting alot and have a bit of a bluffy image, I don't think it's a good idea to be making a naked bluff here after facing resistance. It's also tough to get someone to fold on a JTx flop because it hits so many raise-worthy hands.

I also want to say something about balance but I'm not sure about my thoughts on it so perhaps someone else can mention a bit on that topic.

Don't 3bet this pre unless you have a read.

Fold to the flop raise for fucks sake.

This really seems like it should be in Tilt. You played a hand terribly and lost, boo hoo.

If I ever put a villain on TP (any kicker) at 25NL, I immediately give up trying to win the hand. If I put them on 2nd pair sometimes, maybe, I consider trying to push them off, but I usually like a scary card to fall.

Preflop looks pretty bad. Don't 3bet a hand like Axs when you are going to be OOP. Also make it more to go please. As played, his range is going to be super tight in a 3bet pot and this is just spew.

Don't bluff the unbluffable! That's what I try to tell myself. Yet I still try to bluff them and end up barrelling too many times! Remember, they will pay you off when you have it! And remember, they will take your money when you don't have it!

Sometimes we need to stack off a few times in some dumbs spots before cliches like 'don't bluff the station' actually sink in.

I bluff to good results in micro stakes a lot. Although you need to pick your spots. I hate to see stuff like this. Makes me nervous.

Bluffing when facing resistance is my biggest leak at the moment. Followed by not folding top pair quickly enough in limped pots. I'd like to think I'm starting to remember it though :)
