pocket 77 on down to 22.
i have just about givin up playing these hands, unless i can limp in to see the flop and hope to make a set, and even when i make a set, it is not a sure win.
i am just looking for some feed-back, how others play small PP, in different situations. early position, late position, short-handed?

In any "heads up'' (final two players situation), even a pair of ducks is very strong and any pocket pair should be played as a very strong hand.Quote:

Okay... Seriously.... What the hell is up with OG rocco's posts? He writes a post, then edits it, and cuts out a portion, then makes a new post with that cutout portion in it. And this happens nearly every thread.
I raise any PP if opening from any postion at 6-max... then cbet most of the time if appropriate when HU - pref in position. I win moniez this way, and it widens my EP opening range.Quote:

I 3bet in position vs. villains who tend to fold to 3bets or call 3bets and fold to flop cbet. I make moniez this way too.
So that is how I make moniez with small pocket pairs. :shock:
