Well the time has come

7 years of poker - 150k or so. Not much of it from actually winning anything.

Not played in the last 3 months, tried some 25nl 6 max, played 10k hands and this happens. I just cant be bothered any more.

Half of this is ok, most of it is shit, but i cant even beat 25nl no more, my PTR proves that so i guess i quit.

If anyone fancies trying to coach someone who could beat the games once, then drop me a mail - should give someone some entertainment.

Well I rarely ever read the tilt forums. It's hard to tell if you are serious though after 10k hands you might be tilting a bit and it could easily be variance. My most recent 10k looks almost the same except we have opposite problems with showdown winnings making your money and non showdown making mine.
It is a shame if you are serious after having invested so much time and being such a big contributor to the forums in the past.

Don't quit man. You are one of the luckiest poker players in the world and this is only 10k hands. I admit that 25NL 6max (at least at FT) is wayyy better than it was even a year ago so don't overthink things. Just try to adjust and play every player instead of a limit. This has helped me. I'm tight as crap at some tables and very aggro. at others it all depends ld0.

Agreed, a 10k hand downswing is bound to happen fairly often. It could have been much worse, you came out nearly even.

Why not try some non-holdem games? PLO, Omaha8, Stud8 are all pretty soft. I don't have any experience with games like 5CD, Triple draw, etc, but I imagine they are soft as a fresh turd as well. Learning some new games might help break up the grind and perk your interest in poker again.

10000 hands/16 hours = 625 hands/hour which is what? 8-tabling?

You haven't played in 3 months, and you start out by playing this many tables?

If you want to get better at this game, then don't play more than 4 tables at a time.

Take your overall winnings, subtract rakeback and bonus and then subtract rake. That is what you truly made at the game, and then you paid rake -rakeback. You are definitely beating the game. You just need to beat it a little more to get back to rolling in cash.

If not well.. the first time I moved up to 25NL I ran 5 BIs under AIEV and had to drop back to 10s and I ran another 10 BIs under EV there and then tilted away my entire roll. 1 month and ~50K hands later I am back and killing 25s. So chill out about a downswing =\
