    Default First Lock Poker Game

I was one of the players in a field of 2469 to play in the Top 100 receive a ticket to the Sunday 100K at Lock poker. It may not have been pretty but after the smoke had settled. I placed 100th to claim the last ticket given out this week. Now, if I can convert that $100 monopoly money into some real Benjamins.

It happened to me today, people see me unwilling to protect my small blinds. I would have made Top 100 so easily, but the guy to my right insta allin 8 times when I am BB. For me I accomplished my goal. I waited for a better than 9 4 hand. And did me the double up that I felt increased my chance to win. QQ vs AK, held up to win a $100 ticket.
I outlasted a sitout player who had 38000 chips when I had 12000 chips remaining and blinds were 2000/4000.

Used my $100 ticket on Lock poker today. Tough going. I paired queens but an Ace was on the board, so I could not shove the hand. Then about 8 times I would get two face cards out of position and the next hand I would be big blind with two sub 9 cards. A guy played me like yesterday. Raising every single one of my big and small blinds. I need to work on protecting my blinds. The time I did try to protect my blind, I paired a 9, then he paired the king in his hand and yet another king came up to take me out of the $100 entry tourney. Back to square one. Not winning $18,000 for first place anytime soon.
