Tight pre-flop, retarded post-flop is pretty common for online fish past the penny tables. At this point they know what good pre-flop hands look like, sometimes have charts, 2+ tabling, no travel and fast hands removes the live bordem tilt that gets people in there with weak pre-flop hands.

I'm just a very basic TAgg. I can't say for sure how they see me. I only run at about 22/14/2. Most of these hands are just one time unknowns doing stupid things.

sometimes your opponents play like shit and just keep geting hit in the head by ms. luck . while you play correctly and can't win a pot to save your life. Those days can be very flustrating.

Don't. Despite the insanity that often surrounds me at the tables, I truly do run very bad in big pots lately. Hence the drop to 50NL momentarily to regroup. It hurts to see all this going on and I can't play too.

Haha, no funny hands today, but I just had a pretty good laugh about some note I forgot about that I wrote on a guy when I reviewed him once he sat at the table: Couldn't fold TT on a board that had two overs, a 4 card straight, and a 3 card flush.

    I love this site.

Weakest-Tight-Passive player i've ever encountered. I should of only bet 500 on the river because if he was folding that would have worked. Even better would have been to check and see if he checks behind. Would make this even more lol.

    My favorite live hand:

I'm getting fuck all for cards at a 200NL game so I decide to make a squeeze when I'm on the button (horrible idea in a live game of course!)

Some old guy opens UTG for 7bb (he has done this for almost every hand so far, I have no idea why he had so many $1 chips), 3 callers, I reraise to 40bb with 78o.

Of course he calls, I curse my luck that he actually has gold this time instead of the absolute garbage he has had every other time.

I completely miss the flop naturally, he checks and stares me down, he only has like 35bbs left. I still have overs so I figure fuck it just get it over with and put the rest in. I have yet to move though, all I do is look at my chips and he sighs loudly and pitches QJo face up. I show my hand and he snaps.

Then I proceed to get KK and AA a ridiculous amount of times after that. Of course I end up 3-betting him out of a few more pots preflop which pisses him off more and he begins to call me "Reraising Ronnie". "Watch out for Reraising Ronnie there, doesn't have a clue how to play just bets like a fool preflop." Normally I live to engage with people like this but I remain decent out of respect for the other players at the table as he was what even the worst of players would consider the mark.

THEN later on I witness this hand: Full stacks, UTG raises 10bb preflop, BU 3-bets to 30bb total, UTG calls. Unimpressive flop (in other words I don't remember it), UTG bets 20bb, BU min-raises, UTG calls. Turn is nothing, UTG bets 30bb, BU min-raises, UTG calls. River more nothing, UTG bets 40, BU min-raises, UTG folds with about 20bbs left in his stack and BU shows the A high bluff with AJo.

Why bluffing at 50NL is just wrong wrong wrong:

Texas Hold'em $0.50-$1 NL (real money), hand #P4-53449716-957
Table Murrieta, 11 Aug 2007 9:44 PM ET

    Seat 2: mrxx1 ($40.75 in chips)
    Seat 7: Galapogos [ J,J ] ($89.10 in chips)
Seat 8: -Merta- ($47.90 in chips)
Seat 10: Clarkyy ($77.10 in chips)

    Antes/Blinds
Galapogos posts blind ($0.25), -Merta- posts blind ($0.50).

    Pre-Flop
Clarkyy folds, mrxx1 calls $0.50, Galapogos bets $3, -Merta- folds, mrxx1 calls $2.75.

    Flop [board cards 7,3,4 ]
    Galapogos bets $6, mrxx1 calls $6.

    Turn [board cards 7,3,4,T ]
    Galapogos bets $16, mrxx1 calls $16.

    River [board cards 7,3,4,T,7 ]
    Galapogos bets $15.50, mrxx1 calls $15.50 and is all-in.

    SHOWDOWN
    Galapogos shows [ J,J ]
    mrxx1 mucked [ A,J ]
    Galapogos wins $80.50.

And on a tragic note, I actually lost about $500 at 100NL to some guy last month who chased aces like this where we would get it in on the turn and he would hit the ace he was chasing everytime on the river. It happened in about the span of 30 minutes too.

    El Oh El, weekends.

I always wonder what reasoning a persons mind takes to justify playing a hand for $50 when you initially only wanted to play it for 50 cents.

Of course he won it back a few hands later because calling all-in on the flop vs JJ if you have A high is a good idea if you know you'll spike the river.

I would also like to take this moment to thank the river for not putting me on mega tilt like it has been so often lately in big pots. And throw a big FUCK YOU out to the turn for scaring me like that.

Ok I see. So he probably thought something like: He's raised like 4 times in the past 10 minutes preflop. He can't have aces everytime, lets see if I can push him off. Nope, now he bet me again. I've never seen him 4-bet before but that means it would be a great idea to bluff with one. So lets see if he can handle a little 5-bet action. Nope, he raised over that too. I dunno though, that push looks awful bluffy. Plus I have a 7 and 7's are lucky, so I have outs. Altight, lets see what he's got.
