BRM-Nuts

So I played some 25NL last night of about 1k hands. I'm on the verge of moving up to 50NL as I have over 30BIs for 50NL. I played about 1k hands and knew I was running bad for the session.

I decided to look at the results and realized I was down almost 6 BIs for the session. WTF? I had only lost one full BI to a shove (AA<QQ) so I wondered where the rest had come from.

Turns out that I was never hitting my draws and my flopped set % was at 0. I was getting 3bet like crazy and getting raised on almost every cbet. AK was never hitting. Only got AA twice and lost a BI with one of them. The 60+ vpip donks were hitting every flop and were kicking the shit of the regs.

After seeing this the tilt started creeping up on me but before it could grab hold of me I realized that I had lost almost 6 BIs but I still had over 30 BIs for 50NL.
Therefore.....
BR Management=NUTS

If you exercize good BRM then a shitty session ain't as bad as it seems.

I approve this message ... and btw, if you've been beating 100bb @ $25NL, I predict you'll start CRUSHING $50NL 100bb come 02/10/2011 due to Stars new cash game structure changes. Good luck!
