Default 2NL - Fighting Back: Hand After AA's Cracked

I had my AA's cracked by JJ earlier and lost a pot that was worth $1200 of LiveAce money...which has a real dollar amount attached to it.

I stuck around and played another 150+ hands or so and then caught this fish:

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (5 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from http://flopturnriver.com

    UTG ($149)
    MP ($98)
    Hero (Button) ($124)
    BB ($162)
    SB ($141)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8, 7
UTG calls $2, 1 fold, Hero calls $2, 1 fold, BB checks

    Flop: ($7) 10, 5, 9 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets $2, Hero calls $2, 1 fold

    Turn: ($11) 6 (2 players)
UTG bets $8, Hero raises to $16, UTG calls $8

    River: ($43) 7 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $20, UTG raises to $129 (All-In), Hero calls $84 (All-In)

    Total pot: $251 | Rake: $0

    Results below:
    Spoiler:

Hero had 8, 7 (straight, ten high).
UTG had 7, 4 (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: Hero won $251, UTG won $25

You're supposed to post up hands for discussion/that you need advice on. Not to brag about pots that you win.

I didn't think we were never allowed to post a hand that we liked.

moved to the blah forum, as is tradition. Also the preflop limp behind is pretty bad.

    1) I don't understand the hostility on these sites. Is it really that bad to post a hand simply for the purposes of showing a win?

    2) I didn't think it counted as a "limp behind" when I'm on the button, holding a drawing hand, and UTG already limped into the pot. It is?

It's not hostility, it's just the policy here that we keep threads organized. The BC is for strategy, and you weren't asking any questions or trying to initiate discussion, it was a brag post about stacking a fish so it belongs in wins and fails.

Limping behind is when you limp behind other limpers, which differs from open limping where you're the first limper.

After about ~300 hands last night and another few days of poker under my belt, I realize how mainstream this hand was and definitely wouldn't have created the thread if I could do it over again. These things are going to happen.

I've really tightened my full ring game up over the last few hundred hands, though. I fold in so many opportunities where I would have leaked money previously.
