*** WHITE WALKER WEREWOLF (FUUUU BLACK WALKERS) ***

For years, the village of Miehlebin has been a peaceful place; however, strange things have been happening lately. First, wufwugy has been extremely quiet. Even stranger are the random abductions that take place late at night. People go to sleep and when the village awakens, someone is gone. Trails of blood suggest the victims are being dragged towards the Haunted Forest, a vast span of tundra. Have the white walkers breached the Wall or do they live among us and morph into killers at night?

Tonight, the village is getting drunk to put their minds at ease (don't let DropTheBanana mount his horse). OngaBonga, the village idiot, has already died. How? He smoked arsenic, thinking it was weed. LabourHater is glad his friend isn't around any more to bring him down.

Meanwhile, philly and the phanatics is getting random BJs around the village (from dudes and maidens). Warpe, a500lbgorilla, and bigred they're cool. TLR is in hiding until Monday.

Ash256, prognabeshin, and mattc16 are getting their cherries popped by Keith. Keith always said the longer the better.

Boog690 is the only colored person in the village so we treat him different. Shotglass doesn't care what other people think. He is conveying this by attempting to cock slap everyone in the village. StillDeadMoney loves getting slapped with a thick, veiny cock.

Ragnar4 is trying to get people to play dungeons and dragons with him. Unfortunately, the village loners, fulksy and Willburforce (the worst ever player ever) don't want to play. Finally, Penneywize is wearing Insane Clown Posse armour and HoopyDude is licking it.

This game is pretty vanilla. There is no seer.

The angel can save any one player at night and the vigilante can choose to kill a person every other night. The vigilante cannot stack kills so it's either kill someone on night 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc or nothing... For example, the vig cannot kill people on night 1, 3, 5, 7, etc.. Also, if the vig is targetted by the White Walkers the vig will turn into a white walker.

If the angel targets a White Walker they will be converted into a White Walker. The angel must target a person, other than themselves, EVERY NIGHT. GL! Ask questions about the rules in this thread.

Question about the rules: how are conversions going to be handled in terms of village population? Say there are 3 wolves to start the night, then before morning the angel gets converted because he protected a wolf. The next morning, is it noted in the village population? e.g.

There are 4 White Walkers and 17 Villagers

in the "Wire-wolf" game the mod made it clear when people had switched to baddies.

So the angel is also the seer, kinda.

The way I see it, the angel has two options.

1. Protect a random tonight and if a villager, protect him for rest of game to avoid risk of being converted and ensure a villager is safe.

2. Very the saves and reveal at some point in a seer like way.

In this game the specials are not worth much, the vig is always either a benefit or a liability on the village depends on who is playing this role, and in this game with the added risk of turning I dont think he is a great assest
If the angel cannot protect himself and may be turned, and there is no seer to protect he is also much less valuable.
So even if shotgloss is a special and not a wolf it is not a great loss

Given the angel/vig rules I think we should at least discuss the option of the vig outing himself and the angel protectign the vig

Or maybe it's possible that after reading thorugh several of the other games I came to realize that the noob was a target on day one or two (look at Ong during last game), was playing on 3 Lock tables and refreshing the forum every few minutes to find out when lolzzz posted the opening. Then I posted really quickly to give everyone the impression that I got a pm so that one of the mangy, rabid dogs would out himself by trying to get a bw started on me.

This is perfect. Even if a wolf fake outs on us and they convert the real vig we know who they converted and immediately take both players out.

Either way, we have one confirmed villager or the wolves lose two players before Night 3.

I think this should happen before the end of Day 1.

Not entirely certain why anyone would want to lynch TLR at this point in the game. That guy's a solid contributor.

Also: The "Shotglass is a werewolf" argument is a legit argument due to timing IMO. The trick here, is that I'm ok with giving shotglass time to see what sort of contributor he/she happens to be.

I was thinking about this and I can't really figure out a strategy for the angel to "out" his picks since he can't protect himself and if he chooses wrong one night all his protects are worthless anyways.

This strategy seems more sound imo.

Here's mine:
It’s good in theory assuming that we'll know when the vig or angel is turned.
There's no guarantee that we'll find out if either of them do get turned. We just might get told that all was quiet throughout the night or that so and so was shot with no additional information given.
If the angel targets a whitewalker or the vig gets targeted and either of them get turned I seriously doubt that the one that’s been turned will come out and tell everyone “hey, I just got turned.”

FWIW, it seems like the sort of plan that the wolves would develop and post early to quickly increase their numbers and throw suspicion off of themselves.

There's definately merits to vig outingthemselves but possible downsides. It makes wolves job easier as half of their detective work is handed to them on a plate, they just have to concentrate of finding the angel.If the angel gets targetted for a lynch then its game over for the specials, they out themselves to give the vig an extra shot. vig know they will now be converted and therefore lynched the next day anyway.

This game also throws an interesting dynamic for the specials , do they consider themselves as villagers or as potential wolves and do they play for the village or for the wolf team. Going on past games for instance , i reckon that a special SDM would be playing as a wolf from the start hoping to be eaten. We almost got this scenario when JKDS was a recruitable player and he was manouevered into dying before it could play itself out.

As a result and since it needs to be done sooner rather than later regardless whether he's special/wolf/villager ....it makes no difference this game lynch SDM

and for the noobs , no editing/deleting posts

reading shotglass's posts, he seems to be scrambling to try and save himself and actually digging a deeper hole for himself inthe process.

And if he shoots a wolf does that wolf die? If not, the village needs to control his shots (if he shoots at all) so we know who the wolf is if he hits. Which is effectively two lynches per day.

@ DanA: Taking risks like that might sound good on paper and if it works out it will be groundbreaking for the current game, but when it blows up in your face you're inevitably going to think to yourself how retarded it was to not go with the sure thing. (note me and 'Rilla's decision to try to eat Benny last game)

If after 3 or 4 nights every kill is a villager and every angel protect is a different person, the angel runs an appreciable risk of turning into a white walker.

It's at best a coinflip that the angel will be able to make 3 non-white walker choices.

1- 17.6%
2- 18.8%
3- 20%

Odds of making all three guesses ~ 54%

I agree with prof's analysis (though I don't have the time to punch out the numbers myself right now): it's too dangerous to use the angel as a seer. A single living wolf can do a lot of damage, as we have seen in previous games. We absolutely cannot let the vigilante or the angel get converted, and the only way to guarantee this is to have the vigilante come out and have the angel protect them.

If a vigilante comes out and the angel gets converted the next day, we can be fairly certain it's a fake vig outing and the real vig will shoot the fake one.

I don't see any downsides to the plan. Who is the vigilante, you might ask?



I'm the vigilante. I had no other choice but to come out right now because I have six votes against me (I have keith on my ignore list, but I'm assuming he voted for me as well using some catch-all "SDM is better off dead regardless of role" bullshit argument). The other issue is that I have to go away on business for the day and won't be able to post for about 24 hours or so, and cannot properly defend myself.

I will be doing my shots by village vote. At the end of a game day where I get a bullet, I will tally the votes and take the shot the village most desires. People can also vote for "nobody" as well. I'll be using a first-past-the-post voting system. Players can signal their vote by writing shoot playername in italics.

Is my claim legitimate? Observe that nobody else will come out as the vigilante, which should lend considerable credibility to my claim. If someone does and I get hung, you will see that I'm the vig and thus you will hang the other guy as well (which would either be a wolf or a villager that wants to sacrifice himself to get me out of the game).

Needless to say, I require the angel's protection from here on out.

One more thing: if I wanted to be selfish, I would probably risk getting hung on night 1 so that if I survive go open season on the village and hope to get recruited for an easy wolf victory.

Writing this post took a lot longer than expected, fuck. If I get hung anyway, good luck village and great game all!

Considering the number of players its not that great, since the wolves will just eat the angel and then eat the villagers one by one, it might be helpful if we got one or two by day 4 but that is too many ifs

I realize this is his first game but anyone who has played a few games before know that each game/mod is different as to who gets pm's. Sometimes they send roles to EVERYONE and sometimes they don't.
