    Roles as sent:

    Vanillager:
You are a vanilla villager! your vote is your weapon. You win when all wolves are eliminated.

    Seer:
You are the seer ! Each night you may choose a player to lookup, and you will receive an indication of their alignment ("X is a villager" or "X is a wolf"). You are sided with the village, and win when all wolves are eliminated.

    Angel:
You are the Angel ! Each night you may choose a player to protect. You cannot protect the same player on consecutive nights. You are sided with the village, and win when all wolves are eliminated.

    Vig:
You are the vigilante! Each night you may choose a player to shoot. You are sided with the village, and win when all wolves are eliminated.

    Wolf:
You are a wolf ! you have two wolf buddies to help, and your own private chat:

You win when the villagers no longer outnumber the wolves.

    Roleblocker:
You are a wolf roleblocker ! Each night you may choose a villager to block, and if the chosen player has any night actions they will be blocked.

you have two wolf buddies to help, and your own private chat:

You win when the villagers no longer outnumber the wolves.

    Tailor:
You are a wolf tailor ! Each night you may choose a player who will be given a suit to wear for the night. If that player is looked up by the seer on the same night, the seer will receive an incorrect report of that players alignment. E.g. if you select a villager and the seer looks them up, the seer will be told that that player is a wolf.

you have two wolf buddies to help, and your own private chat:

You win when the villagers no longer outnumber the wolves.

Good news boys I'm a villager

Bad news boys I am pretty sure I can only post five times today due to your poverty forum rules

I will do my best not to waste them complaining about me only being able to post five times and telling you I'm a villager

I've been thinking about this for the past hour or so.

It'd be nice if we can nail the tailor really early.

This is gonna be a wolf who is worth preserving for the wolf team obviously, with full bussing rights. Reading deep into interactions will be key.

This could mess with village strategies in a big way, but I'd rather not talk about that for now.

I think it's probably a better idea to conserve my posts for when I get home and have serious content to go through

If people would not expect me to answer unnecessary questions that would be great

As for questions, not really? If you are talking the set-up this isn't my first rodeo (I came from a role madness forum) and saying "it would be nice to hit wolf x" is all fine and good but in reality we should just be lynching the wolfy people as per usual. I don't really understand what you are suggesting otherwise besides "hunt for deep wolves early!" which imo is almost always a dumb idea because it usually just ends in lynching active villagery people which is probably the worst thing you can ever do as a villager

I hope if you are a villager you have better ideas than "lynch the PR wolf!" which is what basically everyone wants to do but it's not something easy to put into practice. Trying to imagine how the wolves will strategize is almost always futile when you can just lunch the wolfy people ffs

Corey makes a good observation about baudib already:

Baudib hopes to target the tailor early. With 15 players in this game, it's going to be more of a bonus on top of lynching a wolf. it's sooooo much of a crapshoot early on.

The thing with baudi trying to target the tailor makes no sense considering it's impossible to specifically target a wolf role without any information. But I'm still trying to figure out what I think about it. Other than that he's posting relatively in line with what I think he would as a villager, not super up to date on his wolf range tho so not putting all my stock in to that.

Look at this hedgy piece of shit post lol

He said it would be nice if we could lynch the traitor early, he didn't say we should hunt the traitor. If we nab a wolf there is a 33% chance that it is the traitor.

gator pretending to have not read the role clearly enough to know it's tailor, not traitor. Coming from gator, this could be a deliberate derp designed to make it look like he's not the tailor. I would expect gator to have read the roles, as either alignment. I think we might have found the tailor already.

  49. #49
Like, it seems that Gator is in love with the concept of "derp clearing" but

    A. it's not really a derp-clear. no one would give anyone credit for that
    B. it's somewhat preposterous to think that Gator is incapable of making a simple mistake like that, and instead, made an intentional mistake, because, you know, he needs cheap tricks to get by as a wolf.
    C. just no

Also, Gator seems to be in a lighthearted mood, which may be villagery for him. hehe

I'm not exactly going to be able to post every 15 minutes and like ong said, it's early into D1

As far as me grasping at straws, it's early on D1. If you have better reasons than me to lynch someone before I bolded, please share.

Bad read. I asked about that 5 post thing (it sounds like it's new account/restriction thing perhaps, that's my guess) but it's still not confirmed. So clearly I haven't played on this gem of a site before

Honestly this site is pretty from what I can tell
