This is gonna be a wolf who is worth preserving for the wolf team obviously, with full bussing rights. Reading deep into interactions will be key.

This could mess with village strategies in a big way, but I'd rather not talk about that for now.
The first part reeks of villager even those the rest of it is a bit strange. Hopefully this villager POV thought process continues throughout this game and he should be clear.

    Can baudib fake that?
  5. #80
Sure, that's not a hard post for a wolf to make.

I see you actually have to unclick the multi quote and posting alone doesn't erase it.
  7. #82
The thing is that we rarely have wolf PRs on this site, so the concept of bussing rights by virtue of role is somewhat alien here.

What would be the point of making that as a wolf? What drives someone to want to fake a post like that? Of all things.

For a villager, what's the sole purpose? To lead the village to hunt for the impossible? Or to just say "hey this is probably a good idea once we have some hard info"?

This was my next question. Is bussing uncommon here? I thought this was a vanilla when I signed up so I'm obviously a little more excited now. The reveals here only show wolf or villager right? Not exact role?
  10. #85
Bussing is common, and reveals normally reveal role and alignment, while it varies as to whether we're told how kills were made.

1)I've made similar posts as a villager before
2)You know I've made similar posts as a villager before because you copied an opener I did like that
3)The fact that I posted in a certain way in one of my 60 turbo wolf games isn't really relevant. Especially considering the fact I've done it as a villa as well.

Baudi can't read me and considering you have no knowledge of our history there is no way you should be confident enough in that to vote me. You're just playing guess work which is hypocritical considering you're pushing me for a weak vote.

Monkey feels town to me. It's also not stacks, nor is it any other old reg imo. "Bussing" is not a term that was used here when I first started playing, I picked that term up from MS.

His follow-up post where he distances himself from your villager lean on him is another one of those things that people read as very villagery.

Drop enough of those nuggets in your posts and you can buy yourself some protection from getting lynched.

    This.

Baudib tells him he has 5 posts or whatever.. And then ship makes a weird wolf read on baud.

I think it feels pretty wild from ship to be honest. And then he caught a little heat over it and never posted again (probably because the 5 post thing, but still).

This might actually be twtbaw though.

Good to know thx. I thought I read something differently but I don't see it now.

Gonna throw it out there right now though that 3 wolves in this setup/size might be against bussing early though.

I think this depends on how much of a noob Ship really is. I could see a noob wolf panicking and waiting to get direction from his fellow wolves before posting, but I have also seen new wolves get ultra defensive. TBH, it is probably neutral now that I think about it.

My reads list irt to villagers is so embarrassingly similar to baudib's that I'm not going to even bother posting it

I think he's right about Oongbagobong and Gator

I would guess he doesn't take this overall line as a wolf

I don't really have any ~reads on the rest, SMF can be a thin villager lean but not confident in putting him any higher. SIU is SIU

The level of content and engagement is pretty meh so we're going to be dancing in the dark

This level of engagement is probably standard for most people who aren't insane (as opposed to POGGERS)

SMF smells like a POGGER the more he posts btw. He's probably a villager.

SIU feels slightly defensive. He is NOT a noob by any means.
Playing big pots at small stakes.
  28. #103
I am going to use an entire post to declare that I have literally no idea how to read SIU and I have a ton of experience with him

Even as someone that typically can pull a good read or two out of his ass, I think my lifetime soulread ability of him is < rand and I just embrace it at this point

Some people just don't mesh in my head
  29. #104
SIU has certain things he does as a villager, which I am not going to specify right now, that I don't see him do often (or at all) as a wolf, but I think he knows what they are, and it's easily exploitable.

I just kind of regard him as neutral until he starts doing those things, and gradually accept that he's a villager.

Some things that are objectively wolfy for most people are neutral for him, and he doesn't GAF if he looks wolfy doing those things, so that's kinda tough sometimes.

in the Lego Game? I said you and Rascal could still be V/V when everyone insisted on lynching one of you. I just said Rascal was always the seer.

I think people either said the full "threw him under the bus" phrase, or just said "ditched" or "sacced" as in sacrifice, maybe. It was a long time ago. But I'm fairly sure "bussed" was one of the breed of new terms that came into usage when some of us migrated to other sites.

It doesn't really matter, I mean it's not helpful in determining your alignment.

i now know what bussed means. i thought it was "tagging along for the ride", but clearly that didn't fit the context too often.

we always just said "threw under the bus"

    Are you talking about SuperMonkeyFace?

Cory, SIU and Kami aren't noobs. I've played with all of them and I've heard of Evene.

I was referring to ship, and yeah I realise you're all players elsewhere, I mean site noobs. It's not very welcoming when a new player joins a game and gets lynched. New players do sometimes get lynched, but there's always a discussion about it, and wuf is usually against the idea. So the fact he's not here means his wolf equity just went through the roof.

I think last game was a special case. That's the farthest I ever made it as the last wolf.

What made that one different IMO is that there was nothing to hide, since my wolfbro in that game got killed so early.
