Yes. I swore to myself during Hoopy's game that I was going to open all games to "lynch wuf 'cause it's wolfy not to."
Normally, I'd hunt that quote down, but I have problems.
1) I was in the dead thread when I had that thought.
2) I may have deleted it because I was (quite stupidly) raging at wuf in that moment.
3) I don't exactly remember the nature of the promise.
It started out as, "I'm going to vote to lynch wuf on D1 and if it doesn't happen, I'm just going to self lynch."
So, yeah... I was obviously going overboard in that moment, and deleting the post (or deleting before posting) was prudent.
Since then, I've come to appreciate how much of an ass I was being about wuf as far as personal stuff.
It doesn't change the fact that wuf spends almost all of his time in-game NOT listening to anyone and going on and on about stuff that isn't helping anyone find the wolves.
So, I think wuf is a cool guy, from whom inspiration can be gleaned, whose prideful boasting is funny since counterbalanced by an extreme sense of helpfulness and compassion
Yes, I think that wuf is fun, but a complete distraction to hunting wolves.

Lalalalalalala! Last game didn't even have a D1, there is only a dark, repressed void in my soul where that day used to be.
Seriously, though. I'm sure you're right. I'd be a 'tarded monkey to even question you, here, since you modded that game.
However, that doesn't really affect my post, because wuf went on and on and on about the partner reveals and wouldn't talk about what the players were doing/saying throughout the day.

If my vote was based on anything in-game, then I don't think the courtesy of saying what he can do to get my vote off of him makes sense.
Since my vote is on him for a policy reason, then if the policy changes, I move my vote. EZ PZ.
I'm not trying to get rid of wuf. I'm trying to get rid of anyone who is not helping me hunt wolves.

There's a difference between an opening tactic and a strategy. Wuf did a ton last game to keep my vote on him.
(until I moved it to gabe/rong with a little pandering persuasion from daven - wp, daven)
I have other reasons to be wary of pandering. E.g. Hoopy openly brown-nosed me when he was a wolf.
I can be gullible about my friends and relationships. Playing this game exposes those weak spots.
One spot that I'm learning to see is that I can be easily persuaded by a little positive feedback, so I'm sensitive to that.

I noticed the votes. I got nervous. I posted when I otherwise would not have.
This much of your read is spot-on.
Explaining my policy is wholly different that backpedaling out of a read.

How is Luco's vote not opportunistic? BID's vote is, too, but I expect a bit of opportunism from BID. I don't expect Luco to follow BID w/o any reasoning.
This much of your read has good points:
Yes, I saw that I was gaining votes for my involvement, and I took that as indication that I was off my game and to try to find some perspective and absorb a bit more. Yes, I hoped that the early votes would blow over and I wouldn't have to get super-involved on D1.
You're deliberately twisting my intent, which I have also come to recognize as a wolf-tell along with pandering.
I've never seen you take arms on D1. You patiently gather information on D1 and D2, then make a huge case in midgame.
rescind wuf
lynch JKDS
