This probably isn't a big enough win to deserve mention in this thread, but I'm posting it anyway because it's my first Top 5 finish. I've been working hard on becoming more of a loose aggressive player and I really think I'm making progress, thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum!

    Pstars 180-man 1st place $1080

I called my shot in the IRC chat on the third hand of this tourney. On the 5th hand I doubled up and 4 hours later I won. Thanks to all the IRC guys who railed me for the final table, it was the most pathetic thing Ive ever seen, I must have stole 80% of the pots once we got to 3-way. P.S. Thanks to rippy who told me to push a raise HU even though the guy had only raised once in the last 50 hands, and he folded giving me a 5-1 chip lead as opposed to 3-1.

Party Poker, $30 freezeout last night (the 6:14 game), 250 entrants... 2nd place. $1100 payout approx. My first real cash, woo hoo!

(Should have had first too, as I had the chip lead and played better than my opponent in heads up, but he caught one minor and one major lucky break for the win. d'oh!)

    Pacific Poker.

    Futurepoker's opening promo freeroll
Second place for a whopping 50 dollar. 84 entrants.

Still my best result and highest MTT win, even if it seems a bit puny here. I guess we all have to start somewhere
Bad thing was I suck so horribly at headsup I managed to waste a 70K to 25K chip-lead...
Good thing is that playing shorthanded doesn't scare me so much anymore.

At least I have a bankroll to play lowstake MTT:s there now.

All I did for the middle three hours (ended up 2nd overall after about 2 hours) was camp for big hands. If I lead I rasied 2 1/2 BB, everyone folded there, to my continuation bet, or I hit the flop and took them down.

This is only my 8th MTT. I owe it all to FTR.

Modest in comparison to some of your great acheivments but it's my biggest online MTT win so far.

Inter-Poker (Crypto Network) Player ID = Sadist
    "Tourney 1477016", on Dec 2 2005 10:55PM GMT. (5 GBP buy-in)
placed 1st out of 199 and won 298.50 GBP

The style of play of the European players relly suits my game well, I'm not saying they're weak, just a different style, maybe less maniacs at the table lets my big hands hold up more?? For those who haven't tried a European site I highly reccomend it.

A bad beat from my first ever win, AT vs A3 all in, he caught two treys to cripple me, then his Q7 overtook my A3 a couple of hands later and it was over. Still ties my biggest win yet so I'm not unhappy.

Right before I started I reread aokrongly's 'tools for patience in a mtt'. It really helped me avoid the normal mistakes I make. Thanks to eveyone here for all there tips! Now I guess I move to Vegas and go pro right?
