Does making it ITM in the Paradise Poker million dollar freeroll satellite count?
Games were stopped when the 10 winners were clear, at which time I held fourth position.
Also is my very first "final table" (the final table was actually never played) in any tournament with 1K entrants.

My first post in this topic but my 4th FT in last 3 weeks.

    $5 freeze-out on AP. 377 entrants.

    Took 3rd place = $188.00
  12. #762
ok maybe this is lame as hell but....lol

    26th in a 5 + .50 @ pokerroom (545 players)

    for all of $ 20.77!!!

(was first ITM appearance in a loooong time , I dont play MTTS that much, but it was nice to make it that far..had just been reading HoH2 , and reading some posts here before I played, it was surprisingly easy actually... i was a coinflip away (shortstacked) from making it much deeper into the money)
  13. #763
I don't know if I should be proud of this, but I'm going to post anyways. 1st out of 1500+ players. It's just a freeroll, and the only prize is an entry in the final tourny, but I get a shot at Vegas now!

That was great, Uncle, but get off me now. You're squishing my smokes!

This was my first final table ever. Good to see that I'm finally getting some results from playing MTTs. I think I was heads up for more than half an hour, in the end
his 97s beat my K9 when I pushed. Thanks to Tracey, Sykedupp and those watching final table at vent, helped a lot.

well i'm not posting a win, but i had my best day in poker yesterday. Made both final tables of the 30+r on dise.

    took 2nd in dise 30k for 6,000
    and 7th in dise 60k for 2,600~

a little bit disappointed with the 7th in the 60k, i definitely couldve had a top 3 finish if things had gone more my way. the cards didnt really cooperate for me however. tied in a pot where i had a guy dominated then went out 1010 to JJ.

was a great feeling though i hope i can continue to do well in these tournaments.

I suck at MTTs. I usually never have time to play them.
    Sprained my ankle yesterday.

    $30+3 NL Speed Tourney on Party - 430 players - 3rd for $1170

    less than three hours later...

    $20+2 NL Speed Tourney on Party - 750 Players - 1st for $3300

What a day, wooo fuckin hooo!

(this was my very first ITM / FT appearance, and I got two in one day!)

Finally broke the $1K mark !!!

    $10/$1 PrtyPoker 11/21/05 8:30pm EST
    2270 players - total prize pool $22,700

    4th place for $1,367.40

I was big stack for the last 1/3 of the tourney, but final table was crazy and when it finally hit 4 players, I was mid-short stack. And this guy to my right just kept pushing and pushing at my blinds, so I finally took a stand and pushed back w QTs - he had 99 - hit a T on the flop (yeah!) and he runner-runnered for a 6-T straight.... bastard... (j/k)

Couldn't have done it without you guy's great discussions and advice! Especially chardrian. Thx, dude. You keep me thinking. Next time - 1st place.

1st place, $250. I'm a new member of FTR, but been reading the site for 6 months and really cant see myself winning without the advice found on this site since my experience with MTT:s and poker is still very limited. Humble thanks to all. Feels good for a student to take home first price. Feels good to win!

I'm relatively new the MTT scene (mainly a cash player previously), but I've played a bunch of them over the last month and am now going deep consistently. Finally notched my first win yesterday:

    Pokerroom, $30+3
    1st place (out of ~190)
    Prize: $1602

Followed that up with a 7th the same day, and then today:

    Pokerroom, $50+4
    4th place (~270)
    Prize: $608

Ok so I know this is the Winners section but 2nd place is still good......

Last night 2nd place in the $2.25 MTT against 133 players - won $50ish

Tonight 2nd place in the £2.25 MTT against 322 players - won £100ish

Just got back to playing poker in the last week - been concentrating on Ring Games and doing well so thought I would play some MTT - so good start - hopefully a win is coming soon.

Awww i really wanted my first post here to be a win in honour of all the great advice I've gotten from this forum. Anyway, I've been lurking this site since the beginning of the summer and my game would not be where it is without the great posts. First four digit win...Thanks!
