Default SNG $5.50 - Help me play AK

    Hi guys!

So I was looking for the STT forum and it seems to be gone. I accidentally wandered outside of the commune just to get this hand.

I'm a bit rusty. Assume no reads.

(It should read $5, I don't quite acclimatize to Full Tilt's turbo rake for some reason)

    SB (t2,670)
    Jizzy Sawya (BB) (t3,220)

I'd probably would fold hand 2 on the flop as blinds and pot are really small

Yeah agree with dombo. Never ever folding AK when the stacks are this short relative to blinds.

h2 is tricky on the turn. Feels like we got ourselves trapped by calling flop. It's a shame you have no reads on villain to know if he's more likely to donk into a flop like this with a draw, underpair or trips. I wouldn't hate a r/f line on flop, but again I'd prefer reads to pull this off. Just folding seems best here.

It may be a leak, but I am pushing AKo all day long in the BB with the big stack.

Although I seldom played those STT's.

hand 1 is a shove pre.

Hand 2 - you need to provide more reads. Your float on flop makes sense only if you know that BB is often full of it or he is capable of folding the best hand on a later street. As played, turn seems standard, and river is a fold. He has the queen or the flush too often to call (unless you have a read).

Hand 1 I would call, both villians have less than 10bb left and you have a strong hand. Hand 2 I think its a fold on the flop. You are on an early stage of a tournament and you will loose lots of chips many times by floating with AK.
