    Default Micro Millions anyone?

Anyone playing Micro Millions? I could not find a thread about it.

I'll start out with playing event 11 & 12 today. Wish me luck, I'll need it

I might play a couple of events. Depends if I'm around and have time to kill. Not ruining my sleeping pattern for it playing an event till 4am to win $30.

ok bit off topic but you reminded me I miss 'The Micros'
surely it is time they made a few new episodes.

but no intention to play any micro millions find them to be more hype than value.
as op indicates more lucks than skills.

I made the money in event 11, but not in 12. Overall a plus of $4.50

Oh well, better than a negative

Well done, at least you came out ahead.

I also made the money in event 22, and knocked out 5 players on my way, to make a profit of $11.56. I love these progressive knockout tours

I'm in for the main event and will also prob play the Storm. I busted in the Sunday Storm Special last week, and busted in a couple of minors over the week. Down about $20 so far in the micromillions, hopefully a deep run in the main will rectify that. Good luck to all FTR'ers in the main!

I think I might've played in one... I'm not even sure (it might've been one of those OPS tourneys on Carbon that I'm thinking of).
I'll probably play the MainEvent & maybe the Storm Special Edition if I'm playing that day but probably none of the others. Would be fun to get a deep run in one though. gl to you!

Ill play the ME but furthermore I can't handle these long tourneys well. Rather see they end some after +/-8h and go on next day.
Always seem to have some huge brainfart after that period.

Agreed, joining one of these knowing it's going to be an 8hr+ endeavor if you go deep is a pretty big turn off. And then only to make one bad play that knocks you out before any of the big money comes into play is pretty annoying. Maybe there is some kind of poker endurance training to prepare someone for these?

It doesn't put me off signing up. If I'm still playing 10 hours after starting, sure I'll be tired but I'll be a very happy tired.

how can u have the patience and time for so little reward

So little reward? The bulk of my poker profits come from MTTs, I've picked up a $4k win a couple of years back playing for 9 hours or so. The potential rewards for this main event are astronomical comapred to that. There's $1m in the prize pool.

And besides, I'm the kind of person who can sit up watching cricket until 8am even when we're getting our arses handed to us.

That would be fckin sick something like that, I firstly wanted to train myself in the other MM events, but some private problems and winning elsewhere in poker didn't make me do it.

Lucky I made top1000 in ME so little bit of training

Only playing valuable or added games will improve your game, but not as much as you want and there is really no better feeling in poker than KO-ing last person in a huge field MTT.

My overall profit of MM6 came to a little under $30. Of these I've just spend $20 on Stars Typhoon Haiyan Relief dummy tour

I played a few of the MicroMillions games but to be honest I was pretty disalusioned with the quality of the play. Too many guys playing bingo in what were small investment tourneys. Unlikley I will play any of these tourneys when the next series starts.
