    Default HU SNG Bankroll

What kind of bankroll would you all suggest if I wanted to start playing HU SNGs?

    Thanks!

The rake is pretty killer at low stakes HU SNGs, but if you have your heart set on it. I'd estimate around 75 buyins.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

    20-30 normals
    30-40 turbos
    70-100 hypers

play is pretty much the same all the way to the 30s so if you have tight brm requirements you stagnate your BR and growth as a player

Be open minded, some things you think are terrible are actually not bad.

    Bikes BRM seems reasonable.

bolded part is pretty correct/good mindset to take on even playing lower stakes here. keeping your mind open and analyzing your opponents play without bias is a great way to go about things. there's definitely stuff I've seen people do in the past that I thought was bad but later learned it just wasn't the "by the book" thing to do.

some players are going to do obviously do dolty things but there's going to be some where what they're doing is a lot better than you think.

regular blind levels like 50-70bi prolly fine... need many many times more then that for hypers though to be safe, like 500bi unless you plan on moving down quickly during downswings.

If you can move down effectively at the right times (say, when you're down to 100bi for the game you're playing, move down), then you can probably be fine with 150-200bi for hypers.

    Worth highlighting again,
I have some players noted as soft and have done very well against them,
but because they appear to play so regularly, after the games I've looked up their stats and found that they are supposed to be quite good.
I think sometimes perhaps it is a case of playing styles working better against certain opponents, but also showing the need to adapt and be flexible.
