Default Home game hand: Hero hits straight on turn

Hand from home game last week:

11 people Sng, relatively early but tournament has been aggressive as hell.
Starting stack is 400, blinds are 2/4 if I recall correctly.
Hero has about 360, villian has him covered

Hero is in the small blind with

BB is a tight player who tries to change his style to a more aggressive one. I have an aggressive image.

1 limper, hero completes, BB checks

    flop:

Hero checks, BB bets 12 limper folds, hero calls, pot is 36.
    Turn:

Hero checks, villian bets 40, hero raises to 100, villian calls, pot is 236

    River:

    Hero: ?

you have a PSB left, i assume you are not worried about a boat here, there's almost no way he can have a set or even two pair on the turn given the action.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

Maybe I am too tight but I wouldn't even bother completing preflop in this spot. If your cards were suited maybe the implied odds are better because you increase your chance of flopping something nice.

As played, I think I would fold the flop, you are getting 2:1 pot odds on the call and your chance of spiking your straight on the turn is about 5 to 1 against; sure there are some implied odds to take into account but then again you can't guarantee that opp won't bet again on the turn.

As you played it, I am torn between just shoving right now and checking to induce opp to bet. Since your read is that opp is aggressive, I think I would check and hope that he bets.

I am not worried about the full house BTW, if he has it then I pay him

    Possible hand range for villian:
    Most likely hands:
    1. Top pair (QJ,QT, possibly KQ)
    2. Some sort of pair + draw (98, 78, 68, T9 etc)

    Possible:
    3. 2 pair
    4. boat

so if I go all in - which hands is he calling me with ?
If I check - is there a chance he will lead out ?
Is there a better chance of getting paid if I bet about 1/4-1/3 of the pot ?

I dont think completing here is a mistake, especially since it has been an agressive game with very big pots building, I was almost sure BB will not raise without a decent hand.

From pot odds point of view you are correct of course.
I planned to fire a bet if any of the following cards hit:
A, K, T, 9, 7 and try to take it down on the turn

That is the reason I posted this hand, I pushed all in, but I think a check was a better line.

Villan did hit his boat on the river (Q6 of all hands) but that is quite irrelevant
