Smile Full Tilt Poker MiniFTOPS XXI Jan 6th - 20th

    MiniFTOPS is back!

Missed out on glory in FTOPS, or want to stick to tournaments which don't cost more than most people's bankrolls? MiniFTOPS returns in it's 21st edition, offering the same 35 tournaments as FTOPS but at 1/10th of the buyin and with over $3 million guaranteed.

There are two reasons why MiniFTOPS is awesome. First, there's massive guarantees for normal buyins. There's a $13 KO with $200,000 guaranteed, a $33 with $400,000 guaranteed and the $75 Main Event with $750,000 guaranteed! While these are multi-entry, it only takes one stack to win Secondly, MiniFTOPS isn't just a series for No Limit Hold'em; there's Omaha, Stud, Razz, 8 game, the works, all with big guarantees and good structures. There really is something for everyone.

    The Schedule

    Satellites

Full Tilt Poker is one of the best sites around for satellites. There's a great selection of multi-table and single-table satellites to all events, from less than a dollar. There's also satellites with money added running until December 30th - see the schedule here - so don't miss out!

The Satellite Challenge gives extra prizes to the top two players who win the most seats for each event, and don't forget that if you qualify for the same event twice you'll get the entry added to your account in tournament dollars.

    Sign up now!

If you sign up through FlopTurnRiver, you'll get a 100% bonus up to $600 which clears at 40 cents per $1 of rake paid Not only that, you'll get a free $2.25 tournament ticket (why not take a free shot at a satellite?) and 10 tickets to the $50,000 First Deposit Freeroll Series, as well as the chance to take part in MiniFTOPS XII and win thousands of dollars as well as a coveted MiniFTOPS jersey avatar!

    Cliffs

If you can't be bothered to read the above (or you've forgotten what it says already):

    • 35 events, 1/10th of the buyin of FTOPS XXI
    • $75 Main Event with $750,000 guaranteed
    • Satellites running already for less than a dollar
    • Money-added satellites running daily until 30th December
    • Sign up now and get 100% deposit bonus up to $600, free $2.25 tournament ticket and 10 freeroll tickets

All the events for MiniFTOPS have been added to the calendar Don't worry, you won't receive email reminders every day haha.

Looking through the schedule in depth was interesting, some of the NLHE events look incred and have massive events and the Main Event is massive but affordable, but at the same time there's a lot of METs so I guess they don't need the same traffic as before to still have decent guarantees.

The fact that they stick to 1/10th of the buyin of FTOPS has its good points and its bad points. There's some really cool and "special" tournaments in there especially for other game types than NLHE like Razz and 2-7 Triple Draw but for some it would have been neat to see a slightly higher buyin and for others a slightly lower buyin (some $5s for stuff like Razz for example) just to make the fields bigger.

Maybe from the 6th to 14th. Then I am in the ol US o A.

When ftp first opened and had a -25% on tickets sale i spent my whole point balance buying tickets many of which are useless like the 3 26s (only 2 26 kos and one is omaha). Some for next year I suppose.

I for one find the buyins as being too high. Would have def considered dep on tilt if the buyins were something like 3-5-10$, like the Micro Millions.
20$ average buyin isn't "mini" for a micro mtt grinder.

The Calendar bot loves posting in this thread - need to find a way to turn it off!

kingmotan, it's Mini because it's a mini version of FTOPS I guess, in that it copies the tournament schedule just with buyins 1/10th of the size. I agree it could do with a couple of smaller buyins but at least it makes for big prizepools.

Have you checked out the satellites?

    mmm...
Not like ftp but maybe now the Ftops will get pepole to theire site.
Because now very low players are in ftp right now

It's not really low players - still the second biggest poker site ahead of PartyPoker. No where near Stars though

I think they're in third acc to PScout . They're back in 2nd right now because of the miniftops , but Party seemed to be beating them after bwin transfer.
They have to get back affiliates and rakeback to be back close to where they were.

Yah most of the MiniFtops are typically $22 buyins. (I didn't purchase any MiniFtops tickets in advance during that deal, chose the DoubleDeuce instead).
    There's that $26 6-max MET KO on Jan.20th - - you're allowed a max. of 3 entries.

Yah. Only 23,749 entries in MiniFtops#1. Pretty sure that's quite a few.

Anyone place decently in any of these yet? I've bombed out of the ones I've played, g/f was doing great in #1, sitting in Top10-20spots for a few hours (7th with 400 left) but then went out in 212th.

I like the size of the buyins - suits me perfectly. I could go for a few less RUSH & Rush-Rebuys though (I freak'n hate rush tourneys).

I've got a $55 ticket that I really wish I could use for something aside from the HU mtt, or the 10-game. (can't stand HU mtt's.... waiting for the next round kinda sucks... although I don't often get to the next round, lol).

Maybe I could use it to satty to the 2-day $216 game?
(hmm... just checked & there's only one $55 (5seats gtd.) satty to that tournament & I'd have to be up at 5:30am to play it. Still maybe a better shot at winning that ticket than playing HU. Might have to be 10-game

Skipped the 10-game (unreg'd.), committed to the $55 satty. Looks like I'll be waking up at 5am this weekend.

Anyone get any scores in this series? (couple small cashes for me.. & that's it)

Good luck P.O.! My assignments for uni are always in for January so it's a terrible month for me. Hurts even more when there's MiniFTOPS, TCOOP and a Winamax series but at least I'll be free for them next year!
