I'd just call the first raise and play for set value OOP.. as played this is fine but...

if you're only calling his 4-bet, then you have to get it in on a non-ace, non-crazy board.. if you're not planning that, it's shove or fold pre-flop..

I agree with Mukaka, I'd call the raise pre and set hunt, but if you think you're crushing his range then I don't mind a reraise to about 120-150. Once he reraises you though, I think it's time to fold or shove. Calling 20% of your stack level 1 of an SNG can't be a good thing. As played, he could have anything, but he probably doesn't have an Ace, or he would have tried to make some money by now. I would call a small bet on the river, and that's about it.

I really dont like shoving pf i must say...Can we put him on a hand range he would do this with? Has he min-bet before or anything?

I agree with the others, I would just flat call and play for set value.

As played, this is a tough spot. I probably call and play for set or overpair value. We pretty much have odds to call and try to hit a set. I don't think I would shove over however.

    Looks like JJ or QQ.

Sometimes I'll feel this way early in the hand and try to make a play against it. Most of the time though, I take your line.

This may be my first ever post in this forum, but how horrible is a medium turn bet? It would be great for eliminating any tough decisions from that point on... meaning, if villain raises turn or even calls - we can confidently not put any more into the pot. I call it a 'blocking bet for future considerations.'

that's the importance of position.. if I had position and he checked to me at the flop, I would check behind.. but on the turn if he checked to me again, I would bet 100%.. The thing is you can fold some big hands you're beating such as QQ,JJ.. they're always scared of an Ace board (not to mention this one has K too )

betting is not bad but as I said if you had position it would be better because you wouldn't have to bet blind against an Ace or a King..

I was thinking I should fire the turn OOP.. I'm pretty much completely giving up on the hand if I check the turn imo. I don't think I have much showdown value, and I think I would be looked up lighter if I fired on the river. Anyone else agree?

I don't think he has a lighter hand.. It's hard to make QQ,JJ fold on the river because it's just one bet.. If you bet the turn they might have folded because they would know they would face another bet on the river..

If you believe he's able to lay down QQ,JJ, then bet.. If not, check is good..
