Cold cards late in MTT

Anything to do except push once you have hit 10xBB? I just finished 475/4700 in an MTT where I was doing quite well (3x average stack and table captain for a few rounds at one point) and then hit a run of totally cold cards. Or do you just open up yourself even more and start pushing with marginal hands?

I know you raise to isolate other players who you know play with trash, but this was a limit tourney which made it even more challenging.

nope, don't worry about it either, just make correct decisions. Don't try to force things.

Pony, my last coupla MTT's ended this way. Got decent hands paid off early, made some quality steals, built Top 10% stack. But I just eased past the bubble in both when I went ice cold. I don't have much advice 'cuz I don't play MTT's all that often, but I need to get in here because my rakeback site offer MTT freerolls as a bonus. I earned $20 in a $5k fr, but I feel like I should have earned more given my position as we headed into the money.

I'll be interested to see what others say about this.
