    Default Call or fold?

I could see his range being something like 55+ AT+ KJs+ which means I think you have to call. Double check the math on that.

You've got pretty active stats on this table and are in semi-late position. Given his SN you can assume he's a 2p2er and has some idea of MTT strat and knows what a resteal is + could be using a HUD.

Don't be fooled into thinking he's a nit based on the 12/4 stats. Its only 20 something hands

to be willing to lose a quarter of your chips on a pair of 6's with only investing 360 chips on your raise , i would fold and let him have this hand .

Mathematically, you need to be no worse than about a 2:3 dog to call. But another factor is that chips you win are worth slightly less than chips you lose. So if we give him a range of say 15%, it looks marginal at best. The table chip leader being on my right is another small factor. Overall, I can't seriously fault calling, but favor folding.

I'm folding. We dominate a tiny % of his range, and are dominated by a reasonable %. We're flipping with the rest. We're prob something like 40% vs his range, idk for sure.

The table chip leader being on my right...
I think you need to go back to school.

    Need more info.
Mainly: how many left to the bubble?
By the stack sizes I really doubt that it's a one table sit-n-go. Bubble dynamics may change some of the responses.

It's a call chip EV wise but may not be a call EV wise.

cEV we need ~39% (pretty sure we have that here with 66 > ~42%).

I would call. (and I'm certain I'd know if I'm calling off prior to raising... looking at stacks to my left).

Where to begin figuring this out in future situations:

Take the amount you need to call by and divide it by the final pot size if you call (1615/4010) which comes out to just around 39.3% which is what we need to be against his range to breakeven. Obviously we'd like to do a bit better than that.

Fjuanl's points seem fine to me and players who see your stats can often widen their rejamming ranges too much here, it could be even wider than the range fjuanl provided. I think that range is a safe place to start, leaving you 41.7% against his range of 55+, AT+ and KJs+ which is fairly tight but a good range to input, 10% of total hands.

So, I think a call is good. Pushing 2% edges over and over again in MTTs (when this can often be an even bigger edge) is pretty damn good overall. Note that with antes this becomes a windmill slam (high five your monitor, too) call.

    tl;dr call is profitable

Thanks for all the info, this is really one of my leaks, I think in ranges but never calculate the % of my hand vs his/her range.

Usually I have got a plan, but there are sometimes situations that I am in doubt while in play. This was one of them. More often than not I don't have any doubts at all lol!
