blind stealing defense
this relates to my other "tourney analysis" posting, but i wanted to throw this out as a stand alone topic.
the situation: i'm the short stack in a tourney when it's down to 4 or less, the BB is up around $100 or $200, and the button (if they have a bigger stack) raises $200 - $400 every time around, and i have a crap or marginal hand that i feel i have to fold.
what do i do?
i know that they can't have a good hand everytime, yet my stack is small enough that if i challenge them, and they call (which they seem to since i can't throw a big enough bet out to really scare them), i could be bubbled.
when i've been the big stack, i do the same thing (pick on the smaller stacks). so, the question is, if you're on the receiving end, what is your best defense?
