I know that I got it in good here, however, I want to know your opinions on how you would play the hand and why. Please note that the tournament is the Big $0.55 on PokerStars.

How would you have played the hand?

Interesting hand - thanks for posting and I'll be interested to see what the tournament players think.

Pre, I'd be inclined to rip it in given stack sizes and lack of interest in raising, as we probably have enough fold equity and 30% equity when called. I expect most people think checking is better, which I think is also fine.

Flop: I'd be inclined to check and let others catch up a bit as you have the board smashed and there's not much your opponents can have, but I get that this is a $0.55 mtt so you'll probably still get a call. If you check and somebody bets, I think it's close between check rip and check call.

I'm also not a tournament player, but I think raising PRE is where it's at.

This looks like there's a load of dead money sitting there to be grabbed at, and the small suited Ace is a perfect hand to stab at this situation from the blinds.

OTF, I bet. You have 2nd nuts on this board (22 is the nuts), and it is my strong opinion that when you are ahead, you bet.

I'm erring on the side of checking pre. We're getting called by the small blind. That on its own is fine, but if we get called by anyone else then we're likely dominated. With this many limps, there's a very good chance someone has an ace, or a pair. They might call because lol 50c.

We should only shove this if we think we're going to get HU with the sb.

As for flop, I'm betting, prob around this size. There's plenty of draws and overpairs that stack off. Some Ax might even call. High value, very little beating us, someone's likely to like this flop, it's a no brainer really.

Yeah, preflop, small blind should be calling my shove all the time given his stack size (3 BBs). Also, there is a bit of slowplaying potential from the UTG player.

On the flop, I think I just have to fastplay my hand because they are limping a lot of suited hands (as the opponent did), so I can definitely get value off suited diamonds here. I obviously call his shove b/c I have the 3rd nuts (behind 2s and 24, however, no one should have 2,4 , unless it's me ~ but I may check the flop with 24 anyway).

Thank you everyone for your imput!

I think you played the hand perfectly, don't like shoving too many players already in the hand, big chance someone calls us and we don't have such of a great hand. Postflop seems standard to me.
    BluFF me if you can!

Played well, given it's a .55$ your flop lead to get value is fine here. In theory it is also okay since we do check back pretty much every 4x in our range so we can lead a bunch of things here (which we will never do in a .55$ though because no one ever folds I assume). Anyway, wp, ul.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

    checking preflop is fine (imo).
    1. UTG might limp-trap (at least some times). 2. you're almost always dominated when called 3. you're very frequently 50/50 vs SB

flop bet-call is nice (imo). but i'll be considering all-in bet on the flop also. simply because if you bet 1.2k and someone calls you - you'll be about Pot Size Bet left on the turn, out of position. yeah, there is only 8 diamond cards you don't want to see, but hands like 33, 55, 66, 77 might call your allin on the flop but fold on A, K, Q turn (after 1.2k bet). but it depends on your reads on other players.

overall, in that case it was played well (at least imo).
