Default Awkward stacks 12-15bb in steal positions

    ie this:
    NL Holdem $200(BB) Full Tilt
    SB ($1,240)
    BB ($3,385)
    UTG ($2,105)
    Hero ($2,420)
    BTN ($4,350)

    Dealt to Hero J K

    fold, fold, fold, fold

    BB wins $200

raise folding is really horrible here most of the time. raise calling seems like a bad idea except vs shorty and I dont think we can justify a jam either.

    folding fine?

    agree with fulksy

1st hand, I'd jam. He's gonna have an even harder time justifying a call than we will have trying to justify shoving atc.

2 - the fold looks good

I think folding both is fine. Hand 1 seems marginal to shove, so shoving just seems to increase our variance. I'd shove from the BTN.

Shotglas - Epic fail on super villain status.

Pretty sure shoving KJ is -ev from CO and mediocre from button since we have 2.4k and are covered in two places. These are both normally folds for me but trying to open up my ranges some.

also shotglass wtf . . . "mediocre hero?"

What are you thinking? Min-raise, fold to a jam?

I usually nit it up and fold mediocre hands. They are hands that can land you in a lot of trouble if you take a flop. If your opponents are fairly aggro and you wanted to go down the min-raising route, I'd take a mix of suited connectors and really strong hands. Make sure there is decent amount of balance between hands you snap call and snap fold.

Hand 1: depends a lot on blind's stats, in a vacuum I think I raise here to about 550 and fold to a shove from BB/Button

Hand 2: you really need to pick up a pot with your stack size, that being said I think A2 is not a great hand to push, I rather push hand like T9, J8 then A2 in this spot
