Only hands in his range we are worried about is Acx or Kcx and of course JcTc etc. his call on the flop looks like Acx and Kcx more often than not.

So it looks like you bet enough to take away his pot odds to draw. I probably take a similar line.

However $20 sngs are out of my range

Your point was should you be betting less on the turn or possibly checking the turn I assume.

I think shoving the turn is more standard, but if you feel comfortable in giving villain a free or cheap card, go for it. You probably could extract an extra 300 chips from him with that sized bet if he has the naked ace, but it surely would suck balls if the club came on the river.

Why not make a more normal bet like 500 or so then get the rest in on the river?

Well, I could bet 500, but if a club falls, I freeze. If he can call my river shove on a blank, he'll probably call the turn shove anyway. My line looks like bullshit sometimes too and I may be called down lightly.

Not a good reason to shove, 500 is plenty to price him out

This is a good reason to shove - if you believe that he'll call because he thinks you're FOS.

Betting 500 there gives villian 2.64/1, which is not good enough drawing odds. But if you consider the implied odds (he gets the rest of your chips if he hits the river), it's really not that bad. I mean, shoving with top set here is never going to be a bad play...but I'd rather fire out 650 and never fold after that

Normally I would fire 600-700 here, but if I do that I figure I might as well shove? If they're going to pay outside of their odds for a flush draw - and they're not calling if the river comes a blank, why not just shove?

over bet the flop so you can shove turn easier.

I like the shove as played, 500 just lets him decide how much he wants to play for
