    Interesting and nh.

I like the 2 street check and call, I do wonder how much of his river range is TT, JJ, QQ, KQ, KJ and whether your line screams A so bad that it might have been worth a bet on the river that might have made him lay those down.

I think he checks those hands behind. Did you plan to fold to a river bet?

There's a good chance I'd play this hand the same but I think I like either folding pre or betting like1,500 on river.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

K was a bad card kinda stumped me, I thought about betting but i don't think he's folding anything that beats me.

Yea I think it is best played this way. I don't hate a fold pre since it is hard to play oop but we have a pretty hand and a nice price.

Frankly I think if we bet the river our hand looks alot more like either fd than an ace. The board is so drawy at the turn that I think he could expect us to raise an ace a large percent of the time. I don't think he's folding a king and tt-qq is pretty much the same hand unless he thinks we're going for thin value.

Basically we are calling cuz we think we are ahead and he is barreling and the K is a pretty meh card to bluff at since if he decided to bluff KT-KQ for a few streets he got there now. I cant think of any rivers I really want to bluff either :S In general c/fold the river to a bet unless you have seen him fire 3 with pretty much air.

Sorry but I think he's folding plenty that beats you unless he is not hand reading at all. I think there is a good chance he folds all pairs bigger than 9 including any hands that spiked the river K.

check/call check/call 1500 screams a slowplayed Ace or even a boat with this board. Far too dangerous to draw to a flush on this kind of board.

If you are your opponent with TT-QQ or any K without an A in your hand what do you do. You've raised preflop and been called. You've bet two streets with two aces out there and you've STILL been called. Faced with a big bet on the river are you calling? I would argue that always calling here loses you money long term.

To call here based on the "well the flush draws missed and it's so unlikely that someone would call with an A preflop given there are two on the board, and if they did they would raise the turn" seems crazy and is a long term losing strategy. You will get owned by trips and boats every time.

The other idea that in some sense betting the river is "repping the K" or that the K is a scare card doesn't quite hold. What can we have that check calls two streets and hits a K? Maybe exactly KQss, KJss, KTss and that's it. Plus if we actually spiked a K, would we bet it? It's likely a good line is check/calling with it. I think our range has way more hands with Aces in.

Based on that then, this looks a decent spot for a river bet.

I like 1500/fold to a raise or check/fold the river.

buy in? I'd usually just fold the turn with no post read. decent spot to 3 bet pre.

Is it 3bet or fold pre for you?

no, I think all 3 are valid. the more read I have the more I'd generally tend to call, less read more chance I'd 3b or fold.

what do your stats look like?

with tighter stats I'd just give up turn, your call on flop should scare him. That said if you call turn I don't think you can't c/f river, he is probably not giving you credit for checking Ax+ 3 times. I would block bet something small like 1250.
