only thing that stuck out to me was check the Q7 hand where you make TP, leading out takes away a bluff or even value bet from a lower PP/A5s. If he has a FD he's never folding whatever you do so try and get value from the rest of his range.
  3. #3
exactly what dr said. Everything else seemed standard.
  4. #4
Yeah, I remember thinking about that after I had made the lead. Thanks.
  5. #5
    agree about the Q7 hand

also, the first 2 hands you folded look like shoves to me. the A5o hand is also close, but maybe its ok since its a final table
  6. #6
A5o for sure not, I don't have it as +chip EV

the 44 & QT are + chip EV to shove if they call optimally. Def when I played a lot of of the ($50) 45 man turbos I stopped shoving these as I found people called pretty wide - that is to say you don't get credit for an EP shove like you might in a normal tourney. Paradoxically sometimes you can get folds from the CO/BU/SB with 2.5BBs since even if someone is getting great odds they may only have 7 BBs themselves and they want to maintain their own FE. So I generally played VERY tight in EP when I was not a big big stack.

Wait - just saw a raise in front of you will the 44, clear fold, I'm sure juan missed it also.
  7. #7
Yeah I did miss that, good fold then. I can't really see folding QTo for 5BBs in mid-position though. Even at low stakes I expect a lot of folds because its near the bubble
  8. #8
At these stacks, 9 people left is practically the bubble - 2 will be out very soon. And people don't necessary call wide, but seem to always call shoves with whatever A-rag they have - pushing something from EP is usually a good recipe in these for getting called with Ax.

If your getting called with Ax a ton: Do some math on equity calculations with pokerstove vs the Ax range. Then compare those to the pot odds your getting. Just a reminder, you dont have to be ahead in the hand to make $ long term.

If you are constantly the underdog, how can you make $ long term? If anything, time will tell ya that you're the underdog too often. Unless you're talking about using FE..

    I'm confused.
