Default $16 Sng 2 table pocket Tens vs wierd action

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 16 Tournament, 25/50 Blinds (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP1 (t735)
    MP2 (t1630)
    CO (t2610)
    Button (t1215)
    SB (t1090)
    Hero (BB) (t3235)
    UTG (t1465)
    UTG+1 (t1520)

    Hero's M: 43.13

Preflop: Hero is BB with 10, 10
    2 folds, MP1 bets t735 (All-In), MP2 calls t735, CO calls t735, 2 folds Hero ???

Just one of this spots when calling, raising and folding all seem wrong

Personally I think I would just let it go in this spot, mainly because CO's stack can really hurt you if you flop an overpair and he's in the hand. Plus even with that action you have to figure that somebody has JJ+ and is trying to be all tricky/trappy.

That said, if it was just MP1 and MP2 in the hand I would probably shove over, your stack can take the hit if you're wrong

Not sure if I follow. If you flop an overpair then CO's stack is likely not going to hurt you. It is rather going to be partly (or completely) your stack. Possibility of someone trapping with JJ+ is really marginal, I think.

I'd call. You have good odds and your hand is easy to play post-flop.

I folded this hand, I dont think I have the correct odds to play for set value
and I think that MP2 is commited to the hand, half his stack is in there on a very big pot, so I dont think he is likely to fold.
CO's call is really weird, but I dont think I put him on a big hand, he may have AK/AQ since he call still escape after the flop.

The main reason I folded is that even if someone does not have an overapir it is very likely that I will have to dodge 3 overcards to win the pot

Pot is offering us immediate odds of 1:3.3. If we consider MP2 as being pot committed we get implied odds of at least 1:4.6.
Chance of a favourable flop (i.e. set or overpair w/o three cards of the same suit nor three consecutive cards (unless they are 987 or 876)) is 1:2.6.

Sure, sometimes we flop a favourable flop and still lose. But I'd still say the odds are on our side.

The thing is that since you have a player all in and a player pot commited you have to calculate the chances of your hand being the best hand on the river and not on the flop

i feel like if you shove its technically + chip EV (although its close) but isnt it bad because of icm?

This is where reads (any reads really) are really important. If MP2 and CO are bad loose players I would probably shove over, expect one or even both of them to fold and then play against MP1's range (that we're way ahead of) with lots of dead chips in the pot.

However, if I've seen any sign of them being at all tricky/trappy, I think the chance of at least one them having JJ+ is significantly increased.

It was relatively early in the Sng and I did not have any real reads on them

    Dump it.

If I see weird bets I start to suspect some monsters.

CO could have any lower pair or I like to play QTs in those spots.

But the 1/2 stack call from MP1 is too fishy to figure out.
