Default What sort of hands to post??

    sup guys,

as i said in my reply to griffey, i took a long break and managed to get a roll goin for free on ACR. I know i'm making some bad plays, prob flatting too much pre. at my best i was running 27/22/6 (3b may be off), and i know other stats matter a lot i just can't remember them now.

    right now , after 8k hands im running 27/19/6.5 cbF=61%, ftFlcb=37% , cbT=53% FtTcb=45% fold to pf 3b = 70%. wtsd=26% wsd= 53%

ive played 2,5k full ring, and i'm up 7.5bi's, 5.5k 6-max , down 3bi's , ive always played 6max exclusively , but tables are full a lot so i'll sit on full ring, and i've been doing decent on it, i just love the action at 6max .

so what do you guys think and what sort of hands would you like to see if my stats are telling anything?

There's no question too dumb here, but I'd say the hands to post are where you were clueless as to what to do. I'd also try and focus on the more frequent spots that occur where you're having problems, rather than spots where it's a clear cooler e.g. when to fire 3 barrels as a bluff, when to cbet, etc. A lot of the hands Cobra posted recently are a good example - they were all really tough to think through and even then there's a lot open to debate.

I'd say your stats are probably too loose pre-flop for 2nl (especially if there's FR in there), as the rake is a killer. It's fun to play more hands, but I'd rather have more money (assuming you don't have a huge edge post flop). There's probably a stack of hands that you're playing that just aren't profitable e.g. flatting ATo on the btn vs an utg open.

I think Ong nailed it in the other post, that you differentiate yourself by doing lines / making decisions that most other avg regs in your games can't/aren't doing.

So try to find spots where you think you made a bet / fold / raise etc that isn't standard, but that you felt was the best play for XYZ factors.
