Hero had Q, K (high card, King).
    Outcome: Button won $9.55

again bovada zone. this is def. one of my biggest leaks. 3betting a weaker range and firing a cbet OTF, if I pickup any equity OTT I fire again. OTR is where I make the most mistakes, sometimes I check and villain checks back AQ, sometimes I shove and villain calls with small PP (no set), rarely villain has a set or overpair as I would of heard by the turn. maybe just fold pre? KQ is strong vs. BTN range maybe flat pre? it seems so weak to flat pre, and x/f this flop. idk I want some input from you guys though I know that,

Looks fine to me, now make a note and make sure next time you're not bluffing this goon. He's dripping in value and it shouldn't take long to recover losses. The note you gain here is worth more than the pot imo.

that's the issue with zone, and bovada, every ones a number no names.

then every hand the numbers and stacks change just like zoom on stars. I did extremely well when I played a set range from all positions. just value hands basically, {22+, ATs+, A5s-A2s, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, T9s, 98s, AJo+} but then I realized after my first 15k hands that I was leaving a ton of money on the tables, I wasn't stealing at all, I wasn't defending my blinds at all, I was just playing like a robot. then I started to open up my ranges. which worked well except for steal pots, HEM said I was down like 6BIs in steal pots( in 2k hands). so I decided to play Saturday morning with a piece of tape across my monitor (not touching it obv.) covering my cards. sounds dumb right? I finished my session +10BBs for 350 hands (approx. 1 hr). I know I missed some good hands UTG and in MP but I needed to improve my stealing because I notice a lot of my stealing losses came from commiting too much money with weak equity. I needed a way to see the textures that I was getting played back on without having my own equity on my mind. I havent played since and am interested to see how that exercise will affect my gameplay tonight when I get off work. I wish I had the HHs from my first 15k hands. I have about 8500 in HEM now that I found a HH converter. sorry about the rant its just proving to be a difficult journey outside of the "value range" in this zone game.

This doesn't seem too bad to me. This is one of those spots, where if you saw villains entire range for getting to the river without any further reads, you'd probably happily jam here assuming he'd be folding a high percentage.

As it turns out, he's a huge station probably, and won't fold. An average player will fold mid low pairs in this spot. If bovada turns out to be different, and most ppl seem to be calling, then ofc you should be adjusting and likely not even firing the turn. It's likely ppl will check back hands like this (66) on the turn and you'll get to see the river anyhow.

Exactly, im going to post my graphs in my blog when i get home. My stealing stats are 10x better than before (losing 6BI in 2k hands to winning 4BIs in 3500 hands) i was getting stuck on equity and focusing on the fact that my std assumption of what a villain does with a specific range (ex. If he flats pre i assume he never has AA) is not the proper mindset to have. And yes i am stealing with ATC from CO,BTN and SB. Its profitable and i have proof. I fire two barrels on most boards and just give up river mostly. Its working , what i need to focus on now is my postflop allins, im losing on those, not much but enough that im spewing in a range sense.

am i weird in just flatting this pre , we hate hitting a K or Q on the flop when called as we are likely behind a 3bet calling range , we lose value from BTN 's steals that he cbets K and Q high boards, we can flop straight draws with a small pot that give us odds to call a cbet to hit.Is KQ too good a hand preflop to 3bet bluff and barrel a stack off with. There is no meta game here so we ganin nothing from it.

Seems trendy to only 3bet or fold from the sb after Galfond did a video on it recently on RIO (think it was Galfond). KQo is okay to 3bet for value imo anyway given we dominate a bunch of Kx and Qx that will call pre.

I think your line is fine against anybody sane op, but be prepared for the monumental swings that go with these marginal lines. I'd generally say that you just don't need to do this at 5nl however as there are a stack of combos of TPTK+ that you can do this with for value. 5nl is definitely tougher than it was even a year ago, but there's still a large chunk of these guys about.

"marginal lines" = high variance. something I know but was NOT prepared for mentally. I really noticed it when I looked at my postflop allins graph. this is not the only spot this has happened, ive noticed that people fold A TON on Ace and King high boards vs these lower boards. ive made adjustments since this hand I just wanted to know what everyone thought, I mean 3betting for value seems good here since villains are 4bet shoving JJ+,AQ+ and folding a lot of middling/weak hands. their flatting range is very narrow.
