    Default QJo on the BU

    Hero (BTN): $5 (250 bb)
    SB: $2.85 (142.5 bb)
    BB: $2.55 (127.5 bb)
    UTG: $1.33 (66.5 bb)
    MP: $2 (100 bb)
    CO: $2.09 (104.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with Q J
CO posts BB OOP, UTG calls $0.02, MP folds, CO checks, Hero raises to $0.12, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.10, CO folds

    Flop: ($0.29) A Q 5 (2 players)
    UTG checks, Hero checks

    Turn: ($0.29) J (2 players)
UTG bets $0.08, Hero raises to $0.32, UTG calls $0.24

    River: ($0.93) 4 (2 players)
    UTG checks, Hero ??

    UTG is a 69/0 over 50 hands
    CO is a 22/22 over 40 hands

Is this too loose to try to isolate the fish? My thinking was he's going to be dominated a lot of the time that he calls as he's coming along with Q2s+ J2s+ and a lot of unsuited Q's and J's as well, not to mention all kinds of other crap.

My main reason for posting this hand is I'm unsure if my range for him is accurate. To the river I figure he's got:

    QQ-JJ, 55, AdAh, AdAs, A2s+, Q5s-Q4s, J5s-J4s, A2o+, QJo

    Is this too wide?

I would hardly ever expect to see a set here, especially after the tiny turn bet and just a call when you raise him, although he seems extremely passive so far.

I'm not sure how often people are limping UTG w/ suited Qx/Jx either, but he is playing 69% over 50 hands so I guess it's not unthinkable he is doing this. Any suited Ax seems about right, and you have the majority of those beat, I think he probably has a load of Ax o/s as well so yeah, I don't think your range is that far off.

You have missed out a fair few hands though. If you think he has Q5s-Q4s, he probably has a load more Qxs that he won't fold to one bet/raise, so like Q4s+, maybe some more Jx as well. If he has QJo, why does he not have QJs? He can also have ATs,KJs+,JTs,T9s,ATo,KJo+,QTo+,JTo,T9o and a whole load of other crap.

I think your range is decent. I would bet 0.50 for value on river, and expect to get called by Ax.

pre is marginal, flop and turn look great, river and villain has less than pot behind so just put him in

There's no possible combos of QJs out there. But thanks yes I see your guys point for sure, this is a bet.

I think that the villain has Ax, but I don't think that he has two pairs, I think that he has only one pair, so for my opinion you should raise, maybe something like $0.22.
