Spoony, this stuff is classic. I don't know how I missed the spreadsheet series. This is such a fundamental necessity for poker players (and all gamblers / risk takers) to understand. Understanding EV calculations is one of the early steps of a casual player turning into a professional. | |

Sorry man haven't been on this for a week or two, I am going to re-read the article later once I am out of work and will post up what I am not sure about, but from memory I think it was even the simple die example. I will post the $9 calculation in here later when I get home and if i am right I will change the payout a few times and practice that first before I move onto the rest of the article. Thanks! |
