Default iso fish and reg overcalls

    history. --
ive played 2.2k hands with this villain multitabling.

    his stats are :
    VPIP: 22 PFR:19
    cold call BTN : 9
    3B is 9.7
    F2CB: 40 F2TCB:20
Bet vs miss cbet turn: 67

Winning Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - Winning Poker Converter Tool from http://flopturnriver.com

    MP ($9.12)
    Hero (CO) ($10.26)
    Button ($10.96)
    SB ($16.03)
    BB ($10)
    UTG ($13.70)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, 9
1 fold, MP calls $0.10, Hero raises $0.60, Button calls $0.60, 3 folds

    Flop: ($1.45) Q, 9, 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.69, Button calls $0.69

    Turn: ($2.83) K (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $1.80, Hero calls $1.80

    River: ($6.43) J (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $3.05, Hero folds

    Total pot: $6.43 | Rake: $0.22

    Results below:
    Spoiler:

    Button didn't show

    my plan:

preflop I wanted to iso limper, he was 43/3 over 100 hands. F2CB was 75%

flop was ok but wet so went for value.

turn was tricky, bet-fold is gross, bet-call seems spewy and checking sucks. in the moment I thought x/c was the least painful.

river makes a lot of his turn semi-bluffing range. it also makes some 2 pairs but notecaddy says his 1/2 PSB OTR is congruent with value hands. (implicit strength:6 implicit weakness:3)

What's hero's image here? How would hero normally play 2pr+ in this spot against villain?

I think this is fine. That turn is as disastrous as they come.

If you don't think he'd ever bluff raise you, you could bet turn with the intention of b/f.

with those stats I have a hard time folding here. If he is betting 2/3 of the time that he is checked to on the turn after floating flops it seems to me that this is just a play in his arsenal a lot of the time. There are definitely hands he has that we are behind (AcXc, and the random TxXx hands he has) but there has to be a lot of 2 pair combos and air that he has as well. I also hate folding sets - so there's that.

KQ is the only 2 pair I could realistically have here. I don't iso QJ or KJ as with regs behind. BB was also a reg.
    I would probably bet-fold turn

I think villain will raise with all of his made hands. plus QT,KT,AT with a club. I cant see him raising QJ,KJ or J9. if we check I think he will bet all of his range. he called the flop which means he has a pair+ or a naked FD. Notecaddy says he calls cbets with medium FDs as well as combo draws and TPs.

exactly why I wanted to post this hand. I forgot to mention that those stats are total. I didn't have those at the time of the hand. his turn bet vs missed cbet was 80%. river was 0%. at 2.2k hands his river was 4%. that was what really put fold into my head. he fires a ton of turns and shuts down OTR. are 2 pairs in his range for the river? I don't know as I don't have that specific of a history. would of been worth it probably to pay the 30BBs just for the information. I also dislike folding sets..very much so, but it seems like he is at the top of his range given previous actions.

if he's shutting down at river so often, then he's much more polarized here as having the nuts or air - and it looks heavily weighted towards the nuts. So your line looks great to me now.

Agree wtih chard, I think this is played fine and the river is a good fold. I don't think I can find a turn b/f so I c/c because I don't want to miss the potential value of filling up vs a straight or flush.
