Default AQo facing turn C/R AI

    UTG: $0.81 (40.5 bb)
    MP: $2.04 (102 bb)
    Hero (CO): $5.83 (291.5 bb)
    BTN: $2.08 (104 bb)
    SB: $0.64 (32 bb)
    BB: $1.02 (51 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q A
UTG raises to $0.05, MP calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.22, 4 folds, MP calls $0.17

    Flop: ($0.52) A 8 2 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $0.39, MP calls $0.39

    Turn: ($1.30) 5 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $0.65, MP raises to $1.43 and is all-in, Hero ??

UTG is 30/25 over 22 hands
MP is 58/25 over 12 hands

I 3bet pre for value because I have position and the 2.5x seems fairly weak. Looking to iso the MP. Is this too loose?

I only need like 18% equity to call here. This might be a dumb question but can I ever be ahead? In my experience these types only really call down their draws, making me narrow his range to two pairs, sets, maybe maybe AQ+ which leaves me with about 15%.

    Thoughts?

Yeah, a pretty easy call but expect to be behind the majority of the time, would expect to see a flopped set quite a lot.

Even if he has only sets and 2P hands, he needs to have like 2 worse Ax hands to make this a call. Given he could have some FD's as well (not many admittedly), and you might already have the best hand anyway, this is a pretty easy call.

Do you prefer a check behind OTT for pot control or do you still bet here?

I prefer to bet, although I would bet a little bigger than you did, I probably go around .90. Before the c/r on turn I would expect to have the best hand a lot of the time and after we bet a little bigger than half pot on turn, it makes it an even easier call off when he c/r all-in.

I like hero's turn sizing. It essentially commits villain all-in on the turn without having to bet all-in, because the remaining stacks on the river will be so shallow. Betting this size with our value hands allows us to make our bluffs this size, and our bluffs only have to work 33% of the time when we choose this size.

Given that our sizing likely forced villain to be all-in or fold, we have to snap it off here.

The most of your decision depend on that what kind of player the villain is ( does he is tight player or not)?!
However, my opinion is that the villain has set of fives or eights. So for my opinion it will be better to go fold.
