[03:37] <Savy> bb is looking a bit fishy
    [03:37] <Savy> however K5s might be a bit loose?
[03:39] <Savy> Also should turn be a bet?
[03:39] <Savy> at the time i was thinking he folds a lot and can check/raise with better kings
[03:39] <Savy> I also might get more value from weaker PP type hands otr by checking turn
[03:39] <Savy> but after he donks he likely has a lot of draws and crap
[03:39] <Savy> so I think turn should be a bet
[03:39] <Savy> and then I dunno if raising the river is too thin

In CO K5s it's ok. Bet/fold turn. Don't taise river
All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...

I don't think you need to be opening this wide at 5NL in CO unless you have real nits on BU/blinds.

You will get called by a lot of worse hands on the turn so I deffo think a bet is best and I think raising the river is fine because you will get calls from hands like Axdd or have like 77-JJ that they just don't wanna fold because it's 5NL.

It's +ev or not +ev, why would better players make it better?

Because I don't see the point in putting yourself in a load of marginal spots when you can get 3 streets of value w/ like TPTK hands nearly 100% of the time and easily beat 5NL that way.

Practise, to get better. To increase my winrate.

It's also zoom so that'd be very basic and may not even win that much.

I'm not sure playing K5s against 5NL regs will be quite the same as playing K5s against 100NL regs.

Bet turn ofcourse. Your hand isn't strong enough to slow play, and you want to keep your ranges as wide as possible. You'd bet the turn with most of your range, so bet your trips as well.

Yeah bet turn. K5s is fine. Marginal, sure, but we take down blinds sometimes, steal raised pot in position at flop sometimes, and bink sometimes. Rarely are we paying off when we're beat. I also think river is fine if we're folding to 3b.

I dont mind the raise pre but I feel like a raise on the turn is better because there are a lot of bad cards that could come on the river that could result in us losing or getting bluffed off of our hand.

Not betting turn is missing out on a ton of value - you win 6bb as played, when in reality you should be winning at least 9 by betting the turn. Those 3bb are huge when it comes to your overall winrate.

On the turn, all of the middle pp's, diamond draws and 6x will still call a bet of at least 9bb and a lot of those will level themselves into chk/calling a small bet (~30%) on the river, especially the Ad part of villain's range. If you bet turn and then face a large donk on the river, then you can probably find a fold.

In short, don't be scared of monsters under the bed or get tricky and keep betting until villain gives you a reason not to.

Suited king is fine to open the cutoff.

On the turn I'd just bet half the pot. He probably doesn't have much but he'll call a small bet with tons of hands there. River raise looks good.

Why did you check the turn. The outcome would probably have been similar but I would have bet the turn here say half pot looking for a call.
