5nl AKs in SB, 3b pot vs. nit,

Default 5nl AKs in SB, 3b pot vs. nit,

BU is 15/13/7 only 41 hands on him. see, i only 3b this guy once so far, i think to him this looks a lot like a re-steal. so i think his flat is wider then his norm. being HU IP, his range might look somethin like:JJ-22,AQs-A5s,K9s+,QTs+,JTs,T9s,98s,87s,AQo-AJo,KQo,QJo,AdKs,AdKc,AhKs,AhKc,AsKh

before the flop we have 61% equity vs. that range, after the flop he has 61% equity.

Flop: i figured i would c/c the flop, if i cbet and he raised i'd prob be folding , we have a dandy of a combo draw. then he checks back, and i'm thinking nice he may be holding 22-77,

Turn: should i have bet? i didnt want to give him a free showdown w/ a small pp. after the raise i'm just thinking he has a boat, or air right?

    thoughts??

I don't think you can bet this turn after checking the flop. It doesn't really make any sense.

I think that you didn't have to re-raise, maybe it would be better if you only made a call. Then like Cobra_1878 said you didn't have to bet the turn after checking the flop. For me the best option here will be to check. However, you made your move and my opinion about your move here is to go fold, because maybe the villain has a set of Ts, or maybe full house.
So it would be better to go fold than to risk.

Check flop, check turn. Fold at any given point.

Betting turn doesn't make much sense imo. Just c/c turn, and c/re-eval river if he bet turn.

    As played, b/f.

    thanks guys

What if we intented to c/r the flop, but it checked back? do we check turn then too?

I understand were aren't in really good shape OTT, but if we are trying to make multi-street plans, and the above was our plan. would we bet the turn?

c/r the flop would be suicidal imo. This kind of board hits his range pretty hard.

yeah i know that's why in my op i had decided to c/c the, so basically if an opponents range is nailing a board and we check/call, we really need a lot of improvement to even consider not giving up , right?

griff, whats your play ott if Qd hit?

Qx hits - just bet bet, and probably bet big.
