Default 2nl JTo in sb 3b pot BB cold calls

just wanna put this hand out there. cause i think it was a pretty stupid play, but also very easily overlooked when a 3b gets cold called

and also i downloaded pokersnowie and its showing me betting my weak and med hands to much , i think this is a prime example, and just not really thinking about hand reading.

so i'm wondering about my whole preflop play, i mean JTo is basically a re-steal, but wow betting this flop after the BB cold calls me is pretty bad huh. bothers me cause i should know better, so i prob wasn't really paying attention

I would fold pre. Woyld call fir 1.5bb if i was BB and it was HU.
As played I'm ok with the cbet and i might even 2 barril with the gut shot, his range has a lot of 77-TT or even some mid small connectors.
of course he can have A9-Q that are not folding.

I agree with the pre-flop statements.

Though I highly doubt his range has a lot of 77-TT after the flop. I think most ppl are folding these to a cb.

cb flop and c/f turn seems fine to me, if we get here this way.

JTo not really the 3betting standard, unless dealer is pressing, and you're making a statement. But once you entered the hand as the aggressor, a normal continuation bet was called most times, even on a scary board. If you check, he is going to take it from you anyway. You can't win them all and I certainly wouldn't double barrel in this situation to mid pairs and gutshot. Plus, his stat gap shows he is a quite passive limp/call machine, which by trade means that if he starts betting instead of check/calling, especially on money streets, you should seldom doubt, unless you have notes. You did well t toss it. You were beat most of the time I feel.

Remember: Play your range, not your hand.
