Default (2n) ATo in BB multi-way...

    Winning Poker Network (Yatahay) - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
    Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

    UTG: $2.08 (VPIP: 22.22, PFR: 22.22, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 9)
    MP: $4.97 (VPIP: 45.33, PFR: 19.72, 3Bet Preflop: 0.83, Hands: 293)
    CO: $1.27 (VPIP: 20.83, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 24)
    BTN: $1.32 (VPIP: 17.77, PFR: 3.80, 3Bet Preflop: 1.23, Hands: 430)
    SB: $4.28 (VPIP: 24.69, PFR: 19.30, 3Bet Preflop: 7.39, Hands: 584)
    Hero (BB): $2.58

SB posts SB $0.01, Hero posts BB $0.02

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.03) Hero has A T

fold, MP raises to $0.06, fold, fold, SB calls $0.05, Hero calls $0.04

    Flop: ($0.18, 3 players) 5 8 9
SB checks, Hero checks, MP bets $0.12, fold, Hero calls $0.12

    Turn: ($0.42, 2 players) K
    Hero checks, MP checks

    River: ($0.42, 2 players) 9

MP is horrible, can be raising any two here, also have 502 hands on this nut
SB: actually have 800 hands in this guy, and he is decent for 2nl, closer look at his stats shows he def flats in blinds way too much.

Flop: mp's Fcb=50% so i think he bets A anything and any piece of the flop here. After sb folds i decide to flat with two overs and backdoors. i just don't have any fold equity vs. this guy he doesn't fold

Turn: just checking w/ intention to fold if he bets

River: easy c/f if he bets obv?

the reason i posted is because i bet this river, and now just posting and taking advice i realize its a dumb bet, like i said he is only cbetting with a piece and maybe AX, pp's. so when the river pairs the board i make bad bet..

glad im posting and seeing these mistakes , ad being told about them.

Playing this the same up to river. Now I probably c/c.

I don't expect him to check back turn with a pair, and I don't expect him to bet weak pairs at river. If he bets, he either has something very strong, or air. The turn check is why I'm happy with my ace here. I think this is good often enough to call a reasonable river bet.

Leading river serves no purpose imo, we're not getting worse to call, and probably not getting many better hands to fold. Maybe crap like 22/33. Maybe.

yeah agree , but a little worried if he stabs at the river cause his flcbet is so low 50% over 500 hnads

Do we not have better reads after so many hands? How often is he stabbing river after turn checks through? How often is he showing air?

Once he checks turn I think he has SD value (77/8x,9x,TT-QQ) type stuff. I don't think we have much fold equity on river so just check and hope he just shutdown with JT/QJ type stuff.

Given I'm willing to call a bet on the flop, I may just lead myself here some % of the time.

ATo without a bdf seems a bit of a loose call on the flop surely? This guy doesn't seem like a maniac and is cbetting a moist flop in position 3-way. I'd rather be calling with all of our pair plus gut shot, straight draws, QT, overs with bdfd, pairs with one over, etc. AT seems pretty far down the pecking order and its too easy to barrel us off or let villain check down better.

I might over bet lead river vs somebody that can find a fold, but that's probably bad. I like to lead flop sometimes too.

If we're leading river, we better be bombing 90% pot +, cause most ppl aren't folding most hands they checked back on the turn when JT/QJ stuff bricks.

That being said, he might have 9x himself.. so I still like c/f.
