After I played this hand I started to wonder if I should have bet more on the River. On the Flop I put him on some kind of A2s hand, or a low pair 88-, and villian just wanted to get the pot decided there and now fearing someone hitting one of their overcards. I guess on this level a lot of players just call PF with hands like that, also based on this PFR stat. When he stopped betting after the Turn card, I still had him on A2s or a pair lower than the 6 that came on the Turn. So with that read, should I have bet more than potsize on River. Would he have called a bigger bet sitting with A2, 55, 44, or 33?

I know a bigger bet would not have worked, but I did not have any hands like AJ in his range. Should I have put him on a hand like that? I mean someone, who isn't raising a hand like that PF, would he bet full pot on that flop?

This hand is probably a normal hand for you guys, but it confuses me LOL

I got lucky, as it seems that my betsize on the River, looked a bit bluffy to villain

Pre-flop is generally going to be leaking money with such a terrible hand - just fold and move on.

Personally, I just raise flop at this stake when villain bets pot, as I'd normally assume this is a bigger hand than a small pocket pair, especially against a passive player like this guy who's unlikely to have a fold button. I also don't hate a chk/call flop, donk turn line if villain is the type to pot-control the turn on a paired board.

As played, river sizing looks good. I'd normally expect him to hold a pocket pair here that pot controls the turn but is calling any river, especially on this dry board.

Most importantly though, take a note on this guy as he's basically asking you to use him as your ATM after this hand when he gives you these tells.

I'm having a hard time folding my SB if not raised. Is that so terrible? I know the hand is crap, but sometimes

I'll note him down on my hunt list

I think that you played this hand very well. I don't think that the villain would have called if you made bigger bet. Maybe he will made bigger bet if he had something like A2, 33, 44 or 55 like you said, but in this situation with AJ I don't think that he would make bigger bet.
For me you played this hand perfectly.
