[NL10] 55 - The auto top-up charm

I decided to make another try with Auto Top Up, and that went better than the last time

One reason for that is the following hand:

1. Is it really bad to bet that flop against so many players?
2. On Turn I hope he catches his Flush, which is why I keep on betting. Are my betsizes on Turn and River allright?
3. Accoring to his stats, can villian in anyway be put on a better house than me? (Which stats are needed to be able to set villain on a range?)
4. Was it allright just to call his raise on the River?

Not jamming the river here is pretty bad.

Yeah I'd probably check this flop back, although betting is gonna take it down a lot vs overcards, I'd just go a bit smaller if I decided to bet. Turn is fistpump and so is river action, idk how much you left behind after calling his raise but that's money you should also have won, and money you'd have probably lost roles reversed, so that river call is not good. You have nearly the nuts here. You beat 33, he hasn't got T3 T5 or T6 based on his stats, so you're worried about TT, one combo, and 66 if he gets this far with it. Very rarely are you losing here. That's a huge mistake on the river.

I'd jam river for sure. There aren't a lot of Tx boats possible, pretty much none.

Given the line villain took I'd say 3's full of T's is more likely 6's full.

I think that I need to work more on what hands I can be up against. It's not that easy with the clock ticking away. It probably is for you guys. I just thought that his VPIP stat would indicate that he would call with a lot of hands in the SB, but T3, T6 and of course T5 is very unlikely, I see that now. I need to work on that. Thank you guys

Yeah the key is to try to get an idea of how many combos in villain's range beat you, and how many combos he has that you beat but that he still calls a jam with. If the balance tips in our favour, then stack that shit.

Even if we give him T6s and 66, he has six combos that beat us including the one combo of TT. If he has this many combos of 33 and flushes, then we're breaking even. He has three combos of 33, and probably all of Axcc, which I think is nine combos. There's plenty enough in his range, allowing for him to get here with T6s and 66, and without even needing the optimism of him stacking a king flush. We're easily ahead of his stacking range, even being flexible.

Combo counting might be where you want to focus your study on.

I think that you played this hand very well. On the first view of this hand we hope that he has a flush, not a full house.
About your first question I think that bet on the flop is very good move, but the bet size is pretty much, maybe you didn't have to bet so much, you could only to bet about $0.25. However, about the rest of the hand your moves was really good ( your bet size on the Turn and on the River). Your call on the river was also good, because there is two tens and six, and even we think that he has flush, we didn't have to risk, so your play on this hand for me was perfect. Well done.

These 19/16 types in full ring tend to be hot-shot wannabes who are more concerned with trying to trick you than they are with trying to make some money. Your flop bet probably isn't such a good idea into so many players and with that weak of a hand. You actually got your money in bad on the flop against the guy who called. Your turn bet size is good because his range seems very elastic. On the river, you're looking to get it all in since his range consists primarily of stupid flush draws that he played in a stupid way.

On the river you should shove your boat down his throat and make him choke on it until his eyeliner runs.

Then spit in his face after you pull it out and laugh at him coughing and gasping for air while you count his money.
