Default [5NL] QJo...3bet pot with turn decision

    UTG - 27/22/12 over 43 hands. Folded to 100% 3bets so far, 3/3.

BU - No info, looks fishy at 56/17/0 over 18 hands. Fold to 100% 3bet, 2/2.

    PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
    Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

    Hero (SB): $5.34
    BB: $4.88
    UTG: $6.07
    CO: $4.99
    BTN: $6.90

Hero posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has Q J

UTG raises to $0.15, fold, BTN calls $0.15, Hero raises to $0.70, fold, fold, BTN calls $0.55

    Flop: ($1.60, 2 players) 4 6 9
Hero bets $0.80, BTN calls $0.80

    Turn: ($3.20, 2 players) 3
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.85, Hero ???

Hero shoves? Don't see how I can fold here now, I think villain would bet here if he had Td/Jd maybe even 9d. Obv he could have Ad/Kd or he might not have any diamonds at all...thoughts?

Big bet for a fish, looking at his stats it's not that likely he's bluffing.

Don't 3bet QJo against an UTG raise unless he's positionally aware. Trying to isolate the BTN in this spot clearly isn't a valid reason when UTG's range has ours absolutely crushed.

When you cbet what type of range are you trying to rep?

Apart from that I have no idea really, 4 cards of the same suit scare even the fishiest of players.

I think this is a pretty good spot for a 3bet, not enough hands on villain to know if he is pos aware but with a player to act behind it's pretty rare I will get a call from UTG here. If he 4bets I can fold easily.

I would cbet with 99+ and any broadways with a diamond. I would also cbet a flopped flush here.

    Easy turn c/c, re-eval river.

Our hand blocks his folding range much more than it blocks his continuing range, and the only hands it makes are second best top pair type hand. Given the situation and reads, this might be profitable in a vacuum, but this is a pretty crappy hand to be doing this with.

Meh, a 27/22 probably has more than enough crap in his utg range to make squeezing here profitable, esp since everybody involved seems to like folding to 3bets (I know, sample size...). If you guys don't 3bet are you folding?

Don't shove. It just folds out more of the combo's we beat so his calling range crushes us. He could be betting literally any diamond here and could also have played his set/2pr horribly into a spot where he thinks betting now is gonna save the day. c/cing turn seems best although I think there might be value in leading.

Again, it's probably profitable in a vacuum and I'd certainly do this with a wide range, but this isn't a great hand to do it with. Not sure if this particular spot's coming up so much and how quickly people are adjusting to squeezes and maybe this ranks okay enough among squeezing opportunities for us to not be undercutting our value for our whole range, so those are all considerations. But yeah, just wanted to point out that this hand is bad in this spot.

    If we're not 3b'ing, we're folding.

I mean .. I think once we c/c turn, I don't know if many ppl are continuing bluff on river. Not sure it's a snap?...
