    Default [5NL] JJ in SB facing barrels

    UTG: $29.03 (580.6 bb)
    MP: $8.18 (163.6 bb)
    Hero (CO): $12.66 (253.2 bb)
    BTN: $6.26 (125.2 bb)
    SB: $12.57 (251.4 bb) {21/17, 9.7% 3b, fold to steal 6/10, SB 3b 1/4, 29% CB, 114 hands}
    BB: $21.05 (421 bb)

    Preflop: Hero is CO with J J
    2 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, BTN folds, SB raises to $0.50, BB folds, Hero calls $0.35

    Flop: ($1.11) Q 3 Q (2 players)
    SB bets $0.53, Hero calls $0.53

    Turn: ($2.17) 5 (2 players)
    SB bets $1.04, Hero ??

    Basically a line/opponent range check here... I'm putting this range to our opponent

    Board: QhQs3c5c
    Equity Win Tie
    Hero 25.66% 25.66% 0.00% { JhJc }
    SB 74.34% 74.34% 0.00% { KK+, AQs+, KQs, AQo, KQo, AdKc, AhKc, AsKc, AcKd, AcKh, AcKs }

    Is this accurate? Or does he never barrel AK? I took out half the AKo combos to represent some of the time that he just checks here, or does he never even CB AK? Could he have a hand like TT (I doubt it). We have the equity to call here in a vacuum, but it's likely we'll face a bet OTR which could be a marginal to -eV call anyways... should we fold at any point here?

    Let's see a river. Definitely never folding yet.

    +1 to Griffey's post. Just can't fold yet.

    Yeah I'm calling, and I'm probably calling river unless it's an ace or king. Villain can definitely have AK here, trying to put pressure on the small pairs in your range, of which he probably thinks you have lots.

    Yeah but AK isn't enough for us to be calling. As he's probably doing the exact same with Qx, KK, AA. We can't just think of a tiny part of villains range and use that as justification for calling.

    AK is over half of his range if it's QQ+ AK. If we give him KQs and QJs too it's closer, but so long as he's keeping it half pot then it's pretty obvious that jacks are gonna run a profit for us. And if he has QJs etc, then I don't see why he doesn't have T9s and some other pure bluffs. Not folding at half pot because we're printing money just letting him fire at us, assuming he's barrelling AK in 3b pots, which is a reasonable assumption.

    General consensus seems to be it's a call, I actually folded at the time, my thinking was his CB freq is so low that he's unlikely to be cbetting a bluff and thus even more unlikely to be barrelling a bluff... but I guess his sizing should leave a fair few bluffs in his range..

    I think that you have to call. I don't think that the villain has Qx, maybe he has only AK or pocket pair like 99 or TT, something like that, so my opinion is that the best option here will be if call on the turn and see the river.
