    Default [10NL] ATo in SB, 3 barrels. sizing?

    Things have been pretty freaking dead around this forum the last week so I'm gonna take the next half hour and post as many hands as I can from my failed 500 hands at 10NL yesterday and try to get some discussions going...

    Hero (SB): $10.41 (104.1 bb)
    BB: $9.85 (98.5 bb) {18/0, 11 hands}
    UTG: $8.49 (84.9 bb)
    MP: $10.52 (105.2 bb)
    CO: $9.20 (92 bb)
    BTN: $10 (100 bb)

    Preflop: Hero is SB with A T
    4 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BB calls $0.20

    Flop: ($0.60) 8 K 6 (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.45, BB calls $0.45

    Turn: ($1.50) A (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.50, BB calls $0.50

    River: ($2.50) 9 (2 players)
    Hero bets $0.75

    The cbet is probably questionable... lots of draws on that board, gonna get raised a lot, etc.

    I'm betting small on the turn and river to keep his calling range relatively wide... Though in hindsight I don't think it can be wide enough by the river to bet anything but the smallest sizings...

    Board: 8s6sKcAs9d
    Equity Win Tie
    Hero 41.67% 41.67% 0.00% { AhTd }
    BB 58.33% 58.33% 0.00% { 88, 66, AKs, K8s+, QsJs, QsTs, JsTs, Qs9s, Js9s, Ts9s, Js8s, Ts7s, 9s7s, 7s5s, 6s5s, AKo, K8o+ }

    I'll do a more in depth analysis of this hand a little bit later and post it here, but for now, thoughts?

    Do you actually think sizing has that much of an effect on villains range?

    Well if we were to bet like 1.25 OTT he would for sure fold out all his Kx... smaller might get him to call a hand like 87, 89, though he probably doesn't have that too often.

    But I do see your point, his SD's are going to fold a lot anyways due to the flush, Kx might just not call any bet as well as 8x.

    I don't think you need to go 3/4 pot on a Kxx board bvb. 2/3 pot is probably fine or even half pot vs some players.

    On the turn I'd probably half pot again. I don't really want to induce bluffs in a spot where I'm not ready to call down.

    I think that you didn't have to bet $0.45 on the flop.Maybe it will be better if you bet only $0.30.
    About the rest of the hand I think that you played well.

    I don't think sizing bet matter here, .30 or .45 seem about the same for this villian. Pretty much he was going to call it regardless. You played it fairly well in my opinion

    Well if villain calls the same range to a 0.30 bet and 0.45 bet, then one is a mistake, so bet sizing would matter. Assuming we're ahead of his calling range, betting less loses value.

    never getting paid by worse on river w/ that board.
    he must be unbelievable bad to call just a pair.
    you will be better by c/c that kind of bet rather then betting. nothing worse calls and very few better fold/ if folds any 2pair for that price.
    All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...
