I will listen to discussion if these need to be changed, I flipped a coin between ISF and Sauce for the 1 seed. Now, convincing Stars to run 45 individual HU tourneys will be the tough part....

If we're going to do best 2 out of 3 matches, which is a good idea imo, we shouldn't make them 300bb deep. I think 100bb is fine honestly, or maybe 200bb. Otherwise this whole thing is going to take really fucking long.

@Zook, I like best 2 out of 3 200bb deep and the 2players are given a week to ge their match done. That way, it should take a month at the most to crown a champ!

I said I'm willing to change them, this is just my perspective on:

A. Who I know plays HU regularly
B. Who plays higher stakes
C. Who I actually knew before this thread
--(ezduzit u fall into the category of me not knowing who you are)
D. Who plays low stakes

Believe it or not I think I am doing the small-stakes guys a great service by allowing them to play HU against players of the caliber of Sauce, ISF, Mass, etc... for only a $20 charge. Sure, they're going to get owned, but if they keep their eyes open they're going to learn a shit-ton about HU play.

it won't happen. in my experience with brackets/seeds, 1 (sauce) v 16 (zee) will be on top and 2 (isf) v 15 (jack) will be on the bottom. they won't play each other unless they both make the finals.

nah, what I mean is we can perhaps tell the best 8 vs the bottom 8 players, but we cant seed everyone exactly...so instead of taking Sauce (1) vs zee (16) we could shuffle it so maybe Sauce plays (13) and ISF plays (9)..so we keep the general idea of top players vs bottom but still make it somewhat random...

did any1 get that?

I think we should seed the "best" 4 or 8 players and make the rest random. If it's top 4 I'd go sauce, massimo, isf and alexos. genitruc would be up there if he hadn't taken the summer off to hang out in Peru.

Seriously, I like the seeding, because (if everyone is cool about it) we could actually make this into a teaching thing. Since I am the worst (and you beet your ass that I am), I should "get" to play the best, so later on we could review the hands and I could learn a great deal from sauce. If each match did that it would be worth a lot more than some ego contest or the prize pool (which will be an insignifficant amount to whoever wins this [which I mean sauce or isf most likely]).

For those who don't know how brackets work in the first round (16 players) the total of the two seeds with equal 17. I.E- 16 plays 1; 5 plays 12, etc...

If all the favorites win in the next round the total of the seeds will equal 9, I.E.- 1 vs 8; 4 vs 5

i think it should be all random though. it wouldnt be that bad if ISF and sauce played early on because that would be a good matchup to watch and thers no gurantee they are both getting to the championship considering its only like best of 3 hu matches.
