Default AK misses in 3b pot vs meh reg

Villain is a 12/9 reg with a very high fold to 3bet (88%) over 14k hands

Should I be cbetting here? His range is very strong to be calling OOP against me here, so I think I owned myself a little bit here by betting in the first place

$7.50 is my standard here pre, (7 if raise is 1.50). And I'd always cbet here. Villains range is super strong to just flat, so c/f is pretty much all your left with. Would be interested to hear better lines.

    What's his 3bet %?

No reads on how he plays in 3bet pots?

I'm fine checking back flop and giving up unimproved on the turn.

Just give up on every street

Agree^ Original raiser will fold hands you have good equity over such as AJ after the 3bnit calls preflop and the second caller will fold hands like AQ too as 88% fold rate to 3bets. Only 3bet him as a bluff?

Am I way out here? Everyone else still likes the 3 bet...?

    Seconded.

And why would 7.5 be your 'standard' pre? What's your 3b range in that spot?

looks fine pre, c/f from the flopturnriver

What is the plan? cbet and give up against a nit? either double barrel or give up before wasting $ on cbet

Obviously flats 3bets with AA and KK, since u didn't give us further info on what he does vs 3bets he doesn't fold. Strangely he also didn't 3bet the first preflop raiser, so I might expand his range to AK, QQ. Your 3bet is awfully high, you should've just flatted pre and give up.
