Summary: With out SSL any 12 year old 733T hax0r kiddie who can "see" your wireless traffic can hack your gmail account just by sifting tho data your transmitting in plain text. (See meaning it isnt all ready fairly strongly encrypted or he all ready has the key). With SSL someone who knows what theyre doing can still actively force your computer to cough up the goods.

This page explains it pretty well I think http://blog.icir.org/2008/02/sidejac...cking-and.html

In other news, all your internet accounts are vulnerable to being attacked if standard security measures are not in place.

its true for like 99.9999% of web sites.

    Even this one.

You should absolutely not use any password on a poker site that you use or have ever used for something else.

also, while sitting in a starbucks and 20 tabling sounds awesome, it could be very dangerous.

    On the grind slavin' daily.
I always thought that hacking somebodies email with like a brute force program or something would be 10 times easier than hacking their poker acct. You just log on to their poker acct and say you lost your password and they send it the email acct you hacked. Bingo bango you have their monies.
