Default 50NL - AA facing aggression on connected rag board

This was a tough hand for me, and I really felt like the pot was getting too large for my single pair. I feel fine about calling the fop raise, but still feel unsure as to the correct play on the turn and river.
Come to think, there aren't many hands that play his line that I can beat (JJ-QQ?). But when, if ever, to fold?

soaking up ethanol, moving on up
bet the flop harder (why < 1/2 pot?)
I bet-fold turn $12 as played, it costs the same as check-calling and you have fold equity.

i 3 bet/shove on the flop vs aggressive villains. Fold to passive ones.
Please make some adjustment to your flop bet sizing. Anyways, i dont like your line at all,IMO.

Taking a weak/passive line causes you to under-rep your hand. What's your read on Villain that prompted this?

As the flop played, unless you are trapping him, wouldn't it be better to lead the turn $10-$12 than to check-call $12.

The river is a bit scary...many folks will give up a marginal hand that you beat by then and check-behind. Monsters bet slightly more than half pot then, and equally-imitated bluffs cannot be ruled out.

If you're going passive against a tight player because you think you're beat then the river is probably a fold. It's definitely hard to decipher what's going on with 0 reads/rangers on you and villain.
